The Turkish Foreign Minister says upon his visit to Lebanon he has instructions from President Erdoğan to grant citizenship to the Turks and the Turkmens who live in Lebanon and don’t have Turkish citizenship, for what they have suffered in the last few years last of which was the huge explosion of the Beirut port.
Turkey announced its intention to grant its citizenship to those citizens who consider [themselves] Turks or Turkmens, for the catastrophic conditions they lived through during the hard years, last of which was the huge explosion in the Beirut port.
During his visit to Lebanon Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çaguşoğlu said: “We received instructions from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to grant Turkish citizenship to all Turkmens, or Turks, who don’t bare Turkish citizenship and wish to acquire it”. This was said according to the Turkish “Anadolu” news agency.
Çaguşoğlu added: “We stand by our Turk or Turkmen relatives in Lebanon and around the world”. He continued: “We shall grant Turkish citizenship to the brethren and say: We are Turks. We are Turkmen. And they express their intention to become citizens in Turkey… these are the instructions of President Erdoğan”.
The Turkish Deputy President confirmed in his statements after his visit to Lebanese President Mīšāl ‘Awn that Ankara will send aids rapidly to Lebanon after the events of the explosion on Beirut port, expressing that his visit to Lebanon gives “a blank check to grant all kinds of aids to our beloved”, according to his expressions.
The huge explosion, which happened last Tuesday in the port of Beirut caused the death of at least 158 people, the injury of 6 thousand, tens got disappeared and hundreds of thousands lost their home. In addition to that huge losses have occurred in properties.
Lebanon receives aid from a number of countries from the countries of the world, including Turkey to ease the results of the Beirut blast. This means field hospitals, medical staffs, medical aids, food, all carried by airplanes by a number of states of the world arriving in Lebanon supporting it.
The “International Support for Beirut” held yesterday, Sunday via a videoconference under the auspices of the U.N. by a call for it from French President Emmanuel Macron held promises to give aid in the amount of €252,7 million. The aim is to meet the immediate needs of Beirut and the Lebanese people.

وزير الخارجية التركي يقول إنه لدى زيارته إلى لبنان تلقى توجيهات من الرئيس إردوغان بمنح الجنسية التركية للأتراك والتركمان الذين يعيشون في لبنان وليس لديهم الجنسية التركية، بسبب ما عانوه خلال السنوات الماضية، وكان آخرها انفجار مرفأ بيروت الكبير
أعلنت تركيا اعتزامها منح جنسيتها إلى المواطنين الذين يعتبرون أتراكاً أو تركماناً في لبنان، بسبب الأوضاع الكارثية التي يعيشونها طيلة سنوات صعبة، كان آخرها الانفجار الضخم في مرفأ بيروت
وقال وزير الخارجية التركي مولود جاويش أوغلو، أثناء زيارته إلى لبنان: “تلقينا توجيهات من الرئيس رجب طيب إردوغان بمنح الجنسية التركية لكل تركماني أو تركي لا يحمل الجنسية التركية ويرغب في الحصول عليها”، وذلك حسب وكالة “الأناضول” التركية
وأضاف أوغلو: “نحن نقف مع أقاربنا الأتراك والتركمان في لبنان وفي كل العالم”. وتابع: “سنمنح الجنسية التركية للأخوة الذين يقولون نحن أتراك، نحن تركمان، ويعبرون عن رغبتهم في أن يصبحوا مواطنين في تركيا.. هذه تعليمات الرئيس إردوغان
وكان نائب الرئيس التركي أكد في تصريحات له، عقب زيارة الرئيس اللبناني ميشال عون، على مواصلة أنقرة إرسال مساعدات عاجلة إلى لبنان على خلفية أحداث انفجار مرفأ بيروت، معتبراً أن زيارته إلى لبنان بمثابة “شيك مفتوح لتقديم شتى أنواع المساعدات لأشقائنا”، على حد تعبيره
وأسفر الانفجار الضخم الذي وقع في مرفأ بيروت، يوم الثلاثاء الماضي، عن مقتل 158 شخصاً على الأقل، وإصابة 6 آلاف بجروح، وعشرات المفقودين ومئات آلاف المشردين، إضافة إلى خسائر مادية هائلة في الممتلكات
ويتلقى لبنان مساعدات من العديد من دول العالم بينها تركيا، للتخفيف من آثار انفجار بيروت وهي عبارة عن مستشفيات متنقلة، أطباء، مساعدات طبيّة، ومواد غذائيّة، تحملها الطائرات من العديد من دول العالم إلى لبنان دعماً له
ومنح مؤتمر “الدعم الدولي لبيروت” الذي عقد أمس الأحد عبر الفيديو كونفرس بدعوة من الرئيس الفرنسي ايمانويل ماكرون، وبرعاية الأمم المتحدة، منح لبنان تعهدات بتقديم مساعدات بقيمة 252.7 مليون يورو، بهدف تلبية الاحتياجات الفورية لبيروت والشعب اللبناني
