A Yemeni drone managed to penetrate the Israeli air defenses and hit the passengers room at the Ramon airport in the occupied Naqab.

On Sunday a Yemeni drone managed to penetrate the Israeli air defenses, where it targeted the Ramon airport in the Naqab in the south of occupied Palestine and it exploded.
The footages posted on social media documented the explosion of the drone at the airport and smoke rising from the area.
The Israeli Channel 12 reported that the drone managed to hit the passengers’ hall at the Ramon airport. The Israeli ambulance also confirmed the injury of 8 people following the drone hitting the airport.
According to what the Reuters news agency cited from the “Israeli airport authority”, following the attack the airspace above the Ramon airport was closed for areal movement.
Also all operations were completely closed at the airport at least for the following hour. The attack forced the “army” to investigate the failure of the radar and warning systems of the air force in detecting the drone.
The Israeli media had talked states that the security and military institutions confronted 4 drones from Yemen and 3 of them were intercepted. Yet the fourth one hit the airport and then the warning sirens went off in the Naqab.

اخترقت مسيّرة أُطلقت من اليمن الدفاعات الجوية الإسرائيلية، اليوم الأحد، حيث استهدفت. مطار “رامون” في النقب، جنوبي فلسطين المحتلة، وانفجرت فيه.
ووثّقت مشاهد انتشرت في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي انفجار الطائرة في. المطار، وتصاعد الدخان في المكان
وأفادت “القناة 12” الإسرائيلية بأن المسيّرة نجحت في ضرب صالة مسافرين. في مطار “رامون”. كما أكد الإسعاف الإسرائيلي إصابة 8 أشخاص من جراء سقوط الطائرة في المطار.
وفي إثر الاستهداف، جرى إغلاق المجال الجوي فوق مطار “رامون” أمام حركة. الطيران، بحسب ما نقلته وكالة “رويترز” عن “سلطة المطارات الإسرائيلية”.
كما تم أُوقف العمل في المطار بصورة كاملة، حتى الساعات المقبلة على الأقل. ودفع. الاستهداف “الجيش” إلى التحقيق في فشل منظومات الرادار والإنذار التابعة لسلاح الجو في كشف المسيّرة
