“The Second Military District” loyal to the Emirati supported Transitional Council in Yemen condemns the Saudi airstrike against on of its compounds.

The Command of the “Second Military District” loyal to the Emirati supported Transitional Council in Southern Yemen on Friday stated that the Saudi airstrike that hit one of its military compounds “constitutes a surprising attack by Saudi Arabia against our troops who are fighting a war against troops that had committed a number of terrorists actions, targeting the security, the stability and the interests of the people”.

The Command of “the Second Military District Command” talked about its right to “defend itself and to combat terrorism”, condemning “vehemently the interference of the Saudi planes striking our regular forces”.

The “Second Military District” also demanded Saudi Arabia to direct its strikes against what they called as “the rebel and terrorist troops”.

Saudi attack against the “Elite of Ḥadramawt”

The media sources in the Yemeni Ḥadramawt region reported had reported earlier on Saturday the areal bombardment by Saudi planes against positions of the Ḥadramawt Elite Forces that belong to the (Emirati supported) “Southern Transitional Council”, after that latter had recently taken over a military compound of the (Saudi supported) Ḥadramawt Tribal Alliance in Eastern Yemen.

The sources pointed out that the planes carried out intensive flyovers above the coastal strip of the city of aš-Šiḥr and the region of Hirad and its surroundings in an effort of military pressure aiming to push the “Transitional forces” to step back from its position.

Also, the sources pointed out that sounds of explosions were heard in Wādī Naḥab area in the District of Ġayl ibn Yuman in Ḥadramawt Province following the Saudi airstrikes.

On Thursday Saudi Arabia had called upon the “Southern Transitional Council” in Yemen to pull out its forces from Ḥadramawt and al-Mahra, commenting the recent military moves in the two provinces.

قالت قيادة “المنطقة العسكرية الثانية”، الموالية للمجلس الانتقالي المدعوم إماراتياً، في. جنوب اليمن، اليوم الجمعة، إن الضرية الجوية السعودية التي تعرض لها أحد مواقعها العسكرية تُعتبر “استهدافًا مستغرباً من. السعودية لقواتنا التي تخوض حربًا ضد العناصر التي قامت بعدة عمليات إرهابية استهدفت الأمن والاستقرار ومصالح الشعب”.

وتحدثت قيادة “المنطقة العسكرية الثانية” عن حقها في “الدفاع عن النفس ومقاومة. الإرهاب”، مستنكرةً “بشدة تدخل الطائرات السعودية في ضرب قواتنا النظامية”.

هجوم سعودي على “النخبة الحضرمية

وأفادت مصادر إعلامية في حضرموت اليمنية، في وقت سابق اليوم، بقصف جوي. لطائرات سعودية على مواقع قوات النخبة الحضرمية التابعة لـ”المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي” (المدعوم إماراتياً) بعد سيطرة الأخير على. معسكر لحلف قبائل حضرموت (المدعوم سعودياً) في شرق اليمن.

وأشارت المصادر إلى أنّ الطائرات نفّذت طلعات جوية مُكثّفة فوق الشريط الساحلي. لمدينة الشِحر ومناطق خِرَد وجوارها، في إطار ضغوط عسكرية تهدف إلى دفع “قوات الانتقالي” إلى التراجع عن مواقعها.

كذلك، لفتت المصادر إلى سماع دويّ انفجارات في وادي نحب في مديرية غيل بن. يُمين في محافظة حضرموت من جراء الغارات السعودية…
