The Yemeni Presidency in Sana’a announces that head of government Aḥmad Ġālib ar-Rahawī and a number of ministers have fallen in the Israeli aggression against Yemen on Thursday.

The Presidency in Sana’a announced the martyrdom of head of government of government Aḥmad Ġālib ar-Rahawī in the company of a number of ministers following the Israeli aggression on Thursday.
The Presidency added in a statement that a number of ministers suffered midrange and severe injuries in result of the aggression and they are under medical care.
The Presidency explained that the Occupation targeted the Prime Minister and a number of companions at a workshop so that the government could evaluate its activities and its equipment one year after setting it up.
Despite this the Presidency reassured that the institutions will continue providing their services to the people and “will not be affected, whatever the level of the wound is”. Thus pointing out that “the blood of the great martyrs will be the fuel and the push to move ahead on the same path”.
About the position towards Gaza, the Presidency underlined that Sana’a for its people, the Palestinian people, the people of the nation and all the free men of the world to continue with the principle based stance supporting and helping the people of Gaza.
It also confirmed that it will continue to build the power of the armed forces and to develop its capabilities to confront all threats and dangers, “as it is the position of our great Yemeni people ready at all fields and fronts”.
Following the announcement of the martyrdom President of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen Mahdī al-Mašāṭ a decree appointing Muḥammad Miftāḥ to be the caretaker Prime Minister.
On his behalf Defense Minister of the Sana’a government Muḥammad Nāṣir al-‘Āṭifī confirmed the preparedness of the armed forces on all levels to confront the American supported Zionist enemy.
He added that the political leadership have taken all measures to confront the enemy, underlining that “whatever they were conspiring they will fail”.
On its behalf the Anṣār Allah Movement in Yemen mourned the martyrs of the national leadership in the battle with the Israeli Occupation.
On Thursday the Occupation launched against Yemen targeting the capital Sana’a with more than 10 airstrikes announcing its attempt to assassinate a number of the leadership in Sana’a.
On Friday Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces Major General Muḥammad ‘Abd al-Karīm al-Ġamārī had confirmed that the attack of the Israeli Occupation against the civilian districts of the capital Sana’a will not go unpunished.
