The Turkish public prosecution demanded the issue of a red search notice from the Interpol against the Palestinian notable Muḥammad Daḥlān.
According to the Anadolu news agency, it became clear from the testimonies of a secret witness that Daḥlān was designated Samīr Samīḥ Šaʿbān and Yūsaf Ḥasan, both are detained in Turkey with charges of espionage in the interest of the Emirates and collecting information about Turkish civil organizations, and about the opinions of the Palestinian leaders living in Turkey.
Ankara accuses Daḥlān with playing a major role in the failed coup attempt in the year 2016.
Aside from this, the former UN envoy of „Israel”, Danny Danon talked last week about role of the former Palestinian leading person in the Fataḥ Movement Muḥammad Daḥlān in agreement with the Emirates, about his visit there, reflecting on the effects of the Israeli-Emirati peace agreement on the Palestinian Authority.
Danon said in an interview with the Hebrew Radio: „Muḥammad Daḥlān is in Abū Zabī, close to the decision-makers, and does not want to see the Palestinian cause advance under the leadership of the Palestinian president Maḥmūd ʿAbbās”, pointing out that Daḥlān „will wish to return to the playing field when Abū Māzin leaves the match”.
