The Syrian Forces reinstalled their control over the “Tišrīn” electric power plan, sitting on the Euphrates river, which is the second biggest station to produce electricity in Syria.

The Russia Today site today, that the Russian Military Police will begin patrols in the vicinity of this strategic installation today, Monday.
The “Tišrīn” electric power plan was built approximately 20 years ago on the Euphrates river, some 90 kilometers from the city of Aleppo, and Russian and Syrian engineers worked on its building together. It produces some 630 megawatts.
This comes while the Syrian Army already reinstalled its control over the biggest power plan in the city of aṭ-Ṭabaqa in ar-Raqqa Province. That was previously under the control of the “Dā‘iš” fighters.

استعادت قوات الجيش السوري السيطرة على محطة الطاقة الكهرومائية “تشرين”، الواقعة على نهر الفرات، وهي ثاني أكبر محطة لتوليد الطاقة في سوريا
وقال موقع روسيا اليوم، إن الشرطة العسكرية الروسية ستبدأ اليوم الاثنين دوريات في محيط هذه المنشأة الاستراتيجية
وتم بناء محطة “تشرين” لتوليد الطاقة الكهربائية قبل حوالى 20 سنة على نهر الفرات، وعلى بعد 90 كيلومترا عن مدينة حلب، وعمل على بنائها مهندسون روس وسوريون، وتنتج نحو 630 ميغاواط
هذا وكان الجيش السوري قد استعاد في وقت سابق السيطرة على أكبر محطة كهرومائية في مدينة الطبقة التابعة لمحافظة الرقة، التي كانت تحت سيطرة مسلحي “داعش”
