The Iranian Revolutionary Guards talks about publishing images how an American warship flees confronted by its boats in the Gulf of Oman. This came as a response “for its unprofessional behavior”.
The forces of the “Revolutionary Guards” in Iran foiled an American attempt to steal an Iranian oil carrier in the area of Omani Sea, according to that was mentioned by the “Fars” news agency. This is the third attempt within two weeks.
Today, on Wednesday the official Iranian television announced that “the United States failed to steal an Iranian oil carrier in the Gulf of Oman”. Thus pointing out that “boats of the Revolutionary Guards confronted the American vessel in response to its unprofessional behavior on Iranian waters”.
The Revolutionary Guards in Iran talked publishing a video footage showing the scene how the American warship fled in the Gulf of Oman, confronted by the boats of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
The “Revolutionary Guards” said that “the Islamic Republic is the protector of the regional waters and the maritime movement security”. Adding the Iran will stand against any breach of its national interests”.
The Iranian television said that “the naval forces belonging to the Revolutionary Guards conducted an swift and decisive operation at the appropriate time during which it confronted a maritime piracy operation to steal an Iranian oil carrier by the American forces on the Oman Sea”.
It added that “the American force stopped an Iranian oil carrier in the area of Oman Sea, it unloaded its payload and transported the goods to an other carrier belonging to it before heading to an unknown direction”. At the same time with this movement “the forces of the Revolutionary Guards conducted a drop off operation to the American carrier, they took it under control and immediately led it towards Iranian territorial waters”.
The Iranian television continued: “after that a number of American helicopters and warships tried to regain control over the carrier, yet these attempts failed to alter its course”.
The Iranian authorities confirmed that “the (American) oil carrier is currently present within Iranian territorial waters”. Thus “several American maritime vessels repeatedly took bigger efforts to cut the path of the carrier and alter it, yet they failed”.
Iranian Oil Minister Ğavād Ōğī on his own behalf thanked the “Revolutionary Guards” via his Twitter account and said: “I thank the Revolutionary Guards for saving the Iranian oil carrier the clutches of America”.
He added that “this event further strengthened our determination and devotion to serve the Iranian people”.
At the same time the correspondent of al-Mayadeen reported that an operation foiling a piracy operation on the Oman Sea happened on 25th of last month.
Yesterday, on Tuesday the armed unit belonging to the Iranian maritime forces announced foiling a piracy attempt against an oil carrier in the Gulf of Aden.
The Commander of the Iranian Naval Forces Šahrām Īrānī announced that “the Iranian forces confronted a piracy operation targeting two oil carriers in the Gulf of Aden on 16 October”.

وأعلن التلفزيون الرسمي الإيراني، اليوم الأربعاء، أنّ “الولايات المتحدة فشلت في سرقة النفط الإيراني في خليج عُمان”، مشيراً إلى أنّ “زوارق حرس الثورة تصدّت للسفينة الأميركية، ردّاً على سلوكها غير المهني في المياه الإيرانية
وتحدّث حرس الثورة في إيران عن نشر شريط فيديو يُظهر مشاهد لهروب سفینة حربية أميركية في خليج عُمان، تصدّت لها زوارق حرس الثورة الإيراني
وقال “حرس الثورة” إنّ “الجمهورية الإسلامية هي حامية المياه الإقليمية وأمن الملاحة البحرية”، مضيفاً أنّ إيران ستقف ضد أي انتهاك للمصالح الوطنية
وقال التلفزيون الإيراني إنّ “القوات البحرية التابعة لحرس الثورة قامت بعملية جريئة وحازمة، وفي الوقت المناسب تصدّت خلالها لعملية قرصنة بحرية لسرقة شحنة نفط إيرانية من قبل القوات الأميركية في بحر عُمان
وأضاف أنّ “القوات الأميركية قامت بتوقيف ناقلة نفط إيرانية في منطقة بحر عُمان، وصادرت حمولتها، ونقلت الشحنة إلى ناقلة أخرى تابعة لها، قبل أن تتوجه إلى جهة مجهولة”. وبالتزامن مع هذا التحرك، “نفذت قوات حرس الثورة عملية إنزال على الناقلة الأميركية، وسيطرت عليها، وقامت على الفور بتوجيهها نحو المياه الإقليمية الإيرانية
وتابع التلفزيون الإيراني: “بعد ذلك، حاولت عدة مروحيات وسفن حربية أميركية استعادة السيطرة على الناقلة، إلا أنّ محاولاتها فشلت في تغيير مسيرها
وأكدت السلطات الإيرانية أنّ “ناقلة النفط (الأميركية) موجودة حالياً داخل المياه الإقليمية الإيرانية”، فيما “قامت عدة قطع بحرية أميركية مجدداً بجهود أكبر لقطع مسير الناقلة وتغييره، إلا أنها فشلت
وزير النفط الإيراني جواد أوجي، شكر من جهته “حرس الثورة” عبر صفحته على “تويتر”، وقال: “أشكر حرس الثورة لإنقاذ ناقلة النفط الإيرانية من براثن أميركا
وأضاف أنّ “هذه الحادثة تعزز أكثر من عزمنا وإرادتنا على خدمة الشعب الإيران
هذا وأفاد مراسل الميادين بأن عملية إفشال عملية القرصنة في بحر عُمان تمّت في 25 الشهر الماضي
