Acting Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Alī Bāqerī Konī discusses the developments of the negotiations to stop the crimes of the Israeli Occupation in the Gaza Strip with Qatari Foreign Minister Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān.

On Friday dawn Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Alī Bāqerī Konī announced that Qatari Foreign Minister Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān described the results of this phase of the negotiations about a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as sensitive.

During a telephone conversation he held with Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān Bāqerī Konī confirmed the urgent need to continue the comprehensive efforts and effective steps, including the diplomatic ones to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people by “Israel”.

The two sides have discussed the developments of negotiations about stopping the crimes of the Israeli Occupation in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar: The meeting of the mediators will restart on Friday

On his behalf the Qatari Foreign Ministry in a statement said that “the meeting of the mediators to end the war against the Gaza Strip are still ongoing and will restart on Friday”.

The statement of the official spokesman of the Qatari Foreign Ministry Māğid al-Anṣārī added that “the efforts of the mediators in Qatar, Egypt and the United States of America are continuing to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, a prisoner’s exchange and the biggest possible level of humanitarian aid to the Strip”.

Earlier on Thursday in Doha the negotiations about a ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip and a prisoners’ exchange had started. These negotiations are being conducted far from the media in response to the joint statement issued by the United States, Egypt and Qatar last week, in which Director of the Central Intelligence Agency William Burns, Qatari Prime Minister Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān Āl Tānī, Director of the Egyptian Intelligence Major General ‘Abbās Kāmil and Director of the Israeli Intelligence (Mossad) David Barnea are taking part.

The directors of the Israeli security and intelligence services had informed Netanyahu that “the available time to reach an agreement is ending”, and this came by a written document they gave him during a meeting held on Thursday in order to study the preparations of a possible attack against “Israel”.

The Israeli security officials warned that the prolongation and sticking to certain positions in the negotiations “might cost the loss of the lives of the captives”.

In the same context, according to what the American New York Times cited, the current and the previous American and Israeli officials confirmed that the Israeli aim to recover the captives from the Gaza Strip “cannot be achieved by force (by military pressure)”.

أعلن القائم بأعمال وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية علي باقري كني، فجر اليوم الجمعة، أنّ وزير الخارجية القطري. محمد بن عبد الرحمن وصف نتائج هذه المرحلة من المفاوضات بشأن وصف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزّة بالحساسة.

وأكّد باقري كني خلال اتصالٍ هاتفي جمعه مع محمد بن عبد الرحمن ضرورة مواصلة الجهود الشاملة والإجراءات. العملية، بما فيها الدبلوماسية، لوقف إبادة الشعب الفلسطيني بيد “إسرائيل”.

وبحث الطرفان آخر مستجدات مفاوضات وقف جرائم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في قطاع غزّة.

قطر: اجتماع الوسطاء سيُستأنف الجمعة

بدروها، قالت الخارجية القطرية في بيانٍ لها إنّ “اجتماع الوسطاء لإنهاء الحرب على قطاع غزّة لا يزال. مستمراً، وسيستأنف اليوم الجمعة”.

وأضاف بيان للمتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية القطرية، ماجد الأنصاري،أنّ “جهود الوسطاء في قطر ومصر والولايات. المتحدة الأميركية متواصلة للوصول إلى وقف لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزّة، وتبادل. الأسرى، وإدخال أكبر قدر ممكن من المساعدات الإنسانية إلى القطاع”.

وفي وقتٍ سابق من أمس الخميس، انطلقت في الدوحة محادثات بشأن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزّة وتبادل الأسرى. وتجرى هذه المحادثات بعيداً عن وسائل الإعلام استجابة لبيان مشترك صدر عن الولايات المتحدة. ومصر وقطر الأسبوع الماضي، ويُشارك فيها رئيس وكالة المخابرات المركزية الأميركية ويليام بيرنز، ورئيس الوزراء. وزير الخارجية القطري محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني، ورئيس المخابرات المصرية اللواء عباس كامل، ورئيس. المخابرات الإسرائيلية (الموساد) ديفيد برنياع.

وكان رؤساء أجهزة الأمن والاستخبارات الإسرائيلية قد أبلغوا نتنياهو بأنّ “الوقت الملائم. للتوصل إلى اتفاق ينفد“، وذلك عبر وثيقة مكتوبة أعطوه إياها خلال اجتماعٍ عُقد الخميس، من. أجل البحث في تحضير الهجمات المرتقبة على “إسرائيل”.

وحذّر المسؤولون الأمنيون الإسرائيليون من أنّ التأخير والإصرار على مواقف معينة في المفاوضات “يمكن أن يكون ثمنهما إزهاق أرواح الأسرى”.
