On Friday President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn returned to the country from a medical and recovery trip he spends in Germany.
At the welcoming of President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn returning to Algeria President of the National Assembly’s Representative Council Ṣāliḥ Qūğīl, Speaker of the National Assembly Sulaymān Šanīn, President of the Constitutional Council Kamāl Fanīš, Prime Minister ‘Abd al-‘Azīz Ğarrād, Chief of Staff of the National Army General as-Sa‘īd Šanqrīḥa and Director of the Presidential Office Nūr ad-Dīn Baġdād Dāyiğ were present.
It should be mentioned that on 20 January he left to Germany for surgery on his right leg after feeling ill following his previous illness by Covid-19, which treatment ended with success.
This was a scheduled operation before his return to Algeria on 29 December last year, following his first medical trip in Germany, but according to the presidential office, his duties in the country could not allow that.
President Tabbūn is a statement explained shortly before his departure leavening from the Būfārīq airbase on 10 January that his journey to Germany for the second time has the aim “to follow up the protocol, which was outlined from which little is left, but is necessary”. Thus pointing out that he is taken to “a simple surgical operation on his leg”.
It should also be remembered that President Tabbūn was entered on 27 October last year to a special treatment unit in the central military hospital at ‘Ayn an-Na‘ğa (at the Algerian capital) before he was taken to Germany on 28 the same month to perform “in-depth medical examinations” based on the suggestions of the medical team.

عاد رئيس الجمهورية عبد المجيد تبون، الجمعة، إلى أرض الوطن من رحلة علاج ونقاهة قضاها بألمانيا.
وكان في استقبال الرئيس تبون لدى وصوله إلى الجزائر، كل من رئيس مجلس الأمة بالنيابة صالح قوجيل، رئيس المجلس الشعبي الوطني سليمان شنين، رئيس المجلس الدستوري كمال فنيش، الوزير الأول عبد العزيز جراد، رئيس أركان الجيش الوطني الشعبي الفريق السعيد شنقريحة ومدير ديوان رئاسة الجمهورية نور الدين بغداد دايج.
يذكر أن رئيس الجمهورية قد خضع يوم 20 جانفي الماضي بألمانيا، لعملية جراحية على قدمه اليمنى، إثر مضاعفات خلفتها إصابته السابقة بكوفيد-19 وهي العملية التي كللت بالنجاح.
وكانت هذه العملية كانت مبرمجة قبل رجوعه إلى الجزائر يوم 29 ديسمبر الماضي، اثر زيارة أولى للعلاج بألمانيا، غير أن التزاماته داخل الوطن حالت دون ذلك، حسب رئاسة الجمهورية في وقت سابق.
وكان الرئيس تبون قد أوضح في تصريح له، قبيل مغادرته أرض الوطن انطلاقا من القاعدة الجوية ببوفاريك في 10 جانفي الماضي، أن تنقله إلى ألمانيا للمرة الثانية يأتي بغرض “استكمال البروتوكول الذي سطره الأساتذة والذي تبقى منه القليل، لكنه ضروري”، مشيرا إلى احتمال خضوعه لـ”عملية جراحية بسيطة على القدم”.
للتذكير، كان الرئيس تبون قد دخل في 27 أكتوبر الفارط إلى وحدة متخصصة للعلاج بالمستشفى المركزي للجيش بعين النعجة (الجزائر العاصمة)، قبل أن يتم نقله الى ألمانيا في 28 من نفس الشهر، لإجراء “فحوصات طبية معمقة” بناء على توصية الطاقم الطبي
