The news: The American embassy in Baghdad was exposed to an attack by several missiles one of them hitting the restaurant of the embassy that left at least one person wounded.

Evaluation:

  • Not getting into the identity of whom did this, yet it holds a clear message signaling the lack of wish for the continuation of America’s presence in Iraq
  • Until no no person or side claimed responsibility for this bombardment, which means that the presence of the Americans in Iraq after the legal decision by the Parliament of this country to end their existence and the adamance of Trump to stay in Iraq both add up to similar and of course unexpected steps in the future.
  • The attack on the American embassy and not on one of the 14 military bases belonging to them holds a message emanating from the the demands of a growing mass of the Iraqi people, which is that the cessation of all American military activity in Iraq does not satisfy the demands, but rather the American Forces have to completely leave this country.
  • Looking at the last developments Iraq witnesses and the recurring violation of the sovereignty of this country by America it seams that the Iraqis arrived to the conviction that sending non-official messages by firing missiles at a time, when the official diplomatic messages lost heir impact, is more effective, serious and fruitful

الخبر : تعرضت السفارة الامريكية في بغداد الى هجوم بعدة صواريخ اصاب أحدها مطعم السفارة ما اسفر عن اصابة شخص واحد على الاقل

الاعراب

-بمنأى عن الجهة التي قامت بهذه ، فانها تحمل رسالة واضحة مفادها عدم الرغبة باستمرار تواجد امريكا في العراق 

-لم يعلن اي شخص او جهة لحد الان المسؤولية عن هذا القصف ، ما يعني ان حضور الامريكيين في العراق بعد اقرار قانون انهاء تواجدهم من قبل برلمان هذا البلد واصرار ترامب على البقاء في العراق قد يؤديان في المستقبل الى اجراءات مماثلة وبالطبع غير متوقعة

-الهجوم على السفارة الامريكية وليس احدى القواعد العسكرية الـ 14 التابعة لها يحمل رسالة نابعة من مطالب شريحة كبييرة من الشعب العراقي ، وهي ان وقف النشاطات العسكرية الامريكية في العراق لا يلبي المطالب بل يجب خروج القوات الامريكية بالكامل من هذا البلد

-نظرا الى التطورات الاخيرة التي يشهدها العراق والانتهاك المتكرر لسيادة هذا البلد من قبل امريكا ، يبدو ان العراقيين وصلوا الى قناعة مفادها ان توجيه الرسائل غير الرسمية عبر اطلاق الصواريخ في الوقت الذي فقدت الرسائل الرسمية والدبلوماسية تاثيرها ، هو اكثر فاعلية وجدية وجدوائية
