The official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry says that damaged nuclear installations cannot be inspected for reasons concerning the safety and the security, underlining Iran’s right for the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

On Saturday officials spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmā‘īl Baqā’ī confirmed that the inspection operations at the undamaged nuclear installations are ongoing as customary.
In regards to the damaged facilities Baqā’ī underlined that “the customary inspection procedures cannot be carried out because of the lack of outlined mechanisms and the oversight of the safety and security protocols”.
He also underlined the “right of Iran for the peaceful use of nuclear energy and a basic and unalienable right”, adding that “no pressure, or political position cannot jeopardize this right”.
Baqā’ī also explained that “the unilateral and political explanations by certain nuclear weapons possessing states might have raised doubts about the use nuclear weapons for peaceful purposes”, confirming that “the Iranian nuclear program was always transparent and the International Atomic Energy Agency was overseeing it continuously in accordance with the safeguard agreements”.
He pointed out that “the claims raised about the nature of the Iranian nuclear program are mostly excuses to raise fears of Iran and conduct political pressure”.
The Iranian spokesman also pointed out that “the aggressive acts by the United States and the Zionist Entity against Iran was a never seen precedent in the history of non-proliferation, which the Agency should have condemned”. Thus pointing out that “the Agency by not condemning the aggression against Iran affected the relations of Tehran with it”.
These statements came in light of talks about the second round of indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington with Omani mediation in Geneva, in Switzerland next Tuesday. Thus according to the sources of the Reuters agency.
This round of the indirect negotiations will be the second one after the the two states held the first round in Muscat on 6 February.

أكّد المتحدّث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، اليوم السبت، أنّ عمليات. التفتيش في المنشآت النووية غير المتضررة مستمرة وفق المعتاد.
أمّا فيما يتعلّق بالمنشآت المتضررة، فشدّد بقائي على أنه “لا يمكن تنفيذ الإجراءات المعتادة. بسبب غياب آلية محدّدة ومراعاة اعتبارات السلامة والأمن”.
وشدّد أيضاً على أنّ “حقّ إيران في الاستخدام السلمي للطاقة النووية هو حقّ أصيل وغير قابل. للتجزئة”، مضيفاً أنّ “أيّ ضغط أو موقف سياسي لا يمكن أن يمسّ هذا الحقّ
كما أوضح بقائي أنّ “التفسيرات الأحادية والسياسية لبعض الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية. قد أثارت الشكوك حول استخدام الدول للأسلحة النووية للأغراض السلمية”، مؤكّداً أنّ “البرنامج النووي الإيراني كان دائماً شفّافاً والوكالة. الدولية للطاقة الذرية أشرفت عليه بصورة مستمرة وفقاً لاتفاقية الضمانات”.
ولفت إلى أنّ “الادعاءات المثارة بشأن طبيعة البرنامج النووي الإيراني هي في معظمها ذريعة. لإثارة التخويف من إيران وممارسة الضغط السياسي”.
كذلك، أشار المتحدّث الإيراني إلى أنّ “العمل العدواني من قبل الولايات المتحدة والكيان. الصهيوني ضدّ إيران كان سابقة غير مسبوقة في تاريخ نظام عدم الانتشار، بحيث كان ينبغي على الوكالة أن تُدينه”، مبيّناً أنّ “عدم إدانة. الوكالة للعدوان على إيران أثّر في علاقات طهران معها”.
وتأتي هذه التصريحات في ظلّ الحديث عن جولة ثانية من المحادثات غير المباشرة بين طهران. وواشنطن، بوساطة عُمانية، في جنيف السويسرية، يوم الثلاثاء المقبل، وفقاً لمصادر وكالة “رويترز”.
