Iranian Defense Minister ‘Azīz Naṣīrzāde confirms to Syrian Defense Minister Major General ‘Alī Maḥmūd ‘Abbās that the joint cooperation will make them stronger combating the Israeli Entity and its supporters.

On Sunday during a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, Major General General ‘Alī Maḥmūd ‘Abbās Iranian Defense Minister ‘Azīz Naṣīrzāde confirmed that “Iran supports Syria reinforcing the security and the respect of the Syrian territorial integrity”.

Naṣīrzāde said that “unfortunately we don’t see the appropriate response from the international community to the crimes of the Zionist Entity, and therefore we must continue the cooperation between the two states. This will surely contribute to the defeat of the Israeli Entity”.

He pointed out the common points between the two states, especially the support of Syria for the Axis of Resistance, adding that “the agreements between the two states must be implemented, including the results of the last visit (‘Abbās) took to Tehran, which will enlarge the cooperation more swiftly”.

The cooperation makes us stronger

On his behalf ‘Abbās said that “Syria is looking forward to continuing the relations with Iran”, adding: “we will take more efforts serving the goals of the two countries”.

The Syria defense minister pointed out that “the brothers in the Axis of Resistance are in the same ship, fighting against the Israeli Occupying Entity that has committed a number of crimes against humanity in Gaza, Syria and Yemen in light of the failure of the international organizations disregarding these committed crimes”.

He underlined that “the joint cooperation makes us stronger combatting the Israeli Entity and its supporters”. ‘Abbās also congratulated his Iranian counterpart for his appointment as defense minister.

Few days ago Syrian President Baššār al-Asad had confirmed the position of Syria is firm about the cause of the Arab-Israeli struggle, adding that the “Flood of al-Aqṣā” Operation must be viewed in the context of the Palestinian cause and not as an extraordinary frontline event.

Previously Syrian Foreign Minister Fayṣal al-Miqdād has condemned the Western policies, especially the policies of the United States of America that is constituted in the support for the Israeli crimes and its lack of seriousness to stop the war against the Gaza Strip.

أكّد وزير الدفاع الإيراني، عزيز نصير زاده، اليوم الأحد، خلال اتصالٍ مع نظيره السوري، اللواء. علي محمود عباس أنّ “إيران تدعم سوريا لإرساء الأمن، واحترام وحدة الأراضي السورية”.

وقال نصير زاده إنّه “للأسف، لا نرى ردّ فعلٍ مُناسب من المجتمع الدولي تجاه جرائم الكيان الصهيوني، وبالتالي. يجب أن يستمرّ التعاون بين البلدين، وهذا بالتأكيد سيؤدي إلى هزيمة الكيان الإسرائيلي”.

وأشار إلى القواسم المشتركة بين البلدين، ولا سيما دعم سوريا لمحور المقاومة، مضيفاً أنّه “يجب تنفيذ الاتفاقيات. بين البلدين، بما في ذلك نتائج الزيارة الأخيرة التي أجراها (عباس) إلى طهران، الأمر الذي سيوسّع التعاون بسرعةٍ أكبر”.

التعاون يجعلنا أقوى

بدوره، قال عباس إنّ “سوريا تتطلّع إلى استمرار العلاقات مع إيران”، مضيفاً: “سنبذل المزيد من الجهود. بما يتماشى مع أهداف البلدين”.

وأشار وزير الدفاع السوري إلى أنّ “إخوة محور المقاومة في القارب نفسه، ويقاتلون ضد كيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، الذي. ارتكب العديد من الجرائم ضد الإنسانية في غزّة وسوريا واليمن في ظلّ تقاعس المنظمات الدولية وتجاهلها للجرائم المرتكبة”.

وشدد على أنّ “التعاون المشترك يجعلنا أقوى في مواجهة الكيان الإسرائيلي وداعميه”. كما هنّأ عباس نظيره الإيراني بتعيينه وزيراً للدفاع.

وقبل أيام، أكّد الرئيس السوري، بشار الأسد، أنّ موقف سوريا ثابت بشأن قضية الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي، مضيفاً أنّه. يجب النظر إلى عملية “طوفان الأقصى” في سياق القضية الفلسطينية، وليس كحدث ميداني طارئ.
