The Iranian Consultative Assembly adopts a decree to stop the cooperation of Iran with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Speaker of the Assembly Moḥammad Bāqer Qālībāf says that his country will continue the peaceful nuclear program with greater speed.

On Wednesday the Iranian Consultative Assembly adopted the cessation of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, while the correspondent of al-Mayadeen said that the decision does not mean the withdrawal of Iran from the nuclear nonproliferation treaty.
Speaker of the Assembly Moḥammad Bāqer Qālībāf said during a session of the Council that the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization will suspend its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, until the security of the nuclear facilities are guaranteed, expressing surprise that the Agency did not condemn even formally the attack against the Iranian nuclear facilities.
Qālībāf confirmed that his country will continue the peaceful nuclear program with greater speed, will exercise high vigilance and will not be deceived by any promises.
Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Assembly underlined that Tehran will be more ready and prepared than ever before and will respond “with striking force” to any aggression.
Salīmī: the employees of the Agency do not have the right to enter Iran for inspections
On his behalf member of the Iranian Consultative Assembly’s Presidential Committee ‘Alī-Reẓā Salīmī announced that the Council had adopted a decree to stop the cooperation, by which “the employees of the International Atomic Energy Agency don’t have the right to enter Iran to conduct inspections, unless the security of the nuclear installations and the peaceful nuclear activities of the country have been guaranteed”.
The Consultative Assembly in its decrees imposed sanctions on all those who allow the entry of the employees of the International Atomic Energy Agency to the land of Iran. Thus according to Salīmī.
The decisions concern the cooperation agreement regarding the guarantees and other sections of the agreements.
According to Salīmī the decision needs the approval of the Supreme National Security Council.
Member of the Presidency of the Iranian Parliament Rūḥollah Motafakker Āzād had announced on 16 June that the Parliament officially put the matter of “decisive dealing” with the International Atomic Energy Agency on its work agenda.
He continued that the National Security Committee started a correspondence with the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization with the aim of reviewing the ways of its dealings with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

صادق مجلس الشورى الإيراني، اليوم الأربعاء، على وقف التعاون مع الوكالة الدولية. للطاقة الذرية، فيما قال مراسلنا إن القرار لا يعني انسحاب إيران من معاهدة حظر الانتشار النووي.
وقال رئيس مجلس الشورى محمد باقر قاليباف، خلال جلسة المجلس، إن منظمة الطاقة. الذرية الإيرانية ستعلق تعاونها مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، حتى يتم ضمان أمن المنشآت. النووية، مستغرباً أن الوكالة لم تدن، ولو شكلياً، حتى الهجوم على المنشآت النووية الإيرانية.

سليمي: لا يحق لموظفي الوكالة دخول إيران للتفتيش
بدوره، أعلن عضو اللجنة الرئاسية في مجلس الشورى الايراني، علي. رضا سليمي، مصادقة المجلس على قرار وقف التعاون، والذي بموجبه “لا يحق لموظفي الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية. دخول ايران للتفتيش، إلا إذا تم ضمان أمن المنشآت النووية، والأنشطة النووية السلمية للبلاد”.
مجلس الشورى وضع، في قراراته، عقوبة لأولئك الذين يسمحون. بدخول موظفي الوكالة إلى الأراضي الإيرانية، بحسب سليمي.
كما تشمل القرارات اتفاقية التعاون. المتعلقة بالضمانات وغيره من الاتفاقيات.
وبحسب سليمي فإن القرار يحتاج إلى. مصادقة المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي.
وكان عضو الهيئة الرئاسية في البرلمان الإيراني، روح الله متفكّر آزاد، قد أعلن في 16 حزيران/يونيو. الجاري، أن البرلمان أدرج رسمياً ملف “التعامل الحازم” مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية على جدول أعماله.
