The International Coalition’s mission decided in favor of withdrawal from the “Abū Ġarīb Military Base” in the north of Baghdad, and to hand the position over to the Iraqi army in the upcoming hours

According to the Russia Today site, this withdrawal from the “Abū Ġarīb Base” will be the sixth Iraqi military position from where the International Coalition’s forces led by the United States withdraw in the recent period of time.
In the last month, the Iraqi forces officially took over the “al-Qā’im Military Base” at the Syrian border, after the forces of the International Coalition withdrew from it.
The same way the forces of the International Coalition announced last March that it pulled out its forces from the “al-Qayyāra Air Base” south of Mosul, and handed it over to the Iraqi Forces.

قررت بعثة التحالف الدولي الانسحاب من “قاعدة أبوغريب” العسكرية شمال بغداد، وتسليم الموقع إلى القوات العراقية خلال الساعات المقبلة
وحسب موقع روسيا اليوم، وبهذا الانسحاب، ستكون “قاعدة أبوغريب” سادس موقع عسكري عراقي تنسحب منه قوات التحالف الدولي الذي تقوده الولايات المتحدة في الفترة الأخيرة
وقد تسلمت القوات العراقية، الشهر المضي، بشكل رسمي “قاعدة القائم” العسكرية على الحدود مع سوريا، بعد انسحاب قوات التحالف الدولي منها
كذلك أعلنت قوات التحالف الدولي مارس الماضي سحب جنودها من “قاعدة القيارة” الجوية جنوبي الموصل وتسليمها إلى القوات العراقية
