The big Tunisian artist Luṭfī Bušnāq refuses a huge financial offer to sign with an Israeli artist and confirms that thing is against his convictions and also his supporting standpoint to the Palestinian cause.
The Tunisian artist Luṭfī Bušnāq revealed his refusal to a big financial offer to sing with an Israeli artist., pointing out that this thing is against his convictions and his standpoint supporting the Palestinian cause.
Bušnāq said “I refused an offer for $400 thousand to perform a duo with an Israeli artist”, stressing that the Palestinian cause is his cause.
He added that he is “obsessed with the thought of death” explaining that this is not a fear, but he always thinks about what the history will record and said “you are just passing through, but your standing will stay and the history cannot be bought with money”.
It is to be remembered that Bušnāq is known for for his great support for the Palestinian cause and he composed tens of songs supporting the rights of the Palestinian people in the land occupied by “Israel”, and his refusal for the deal of the century. Amongst these the songs “Mādā Sataf‘al [What will you do]”, “Ağrās al-‘Awuda [Bells of returning]”, “Hallīk Ṣāmid yā Falasṭīn [Keep resisting Palestine]”. He also called for the visiting of Jerusalem and he said that that is “a land of the Arabs and we have to visit it always”.

وقال بوشناق “رفضت عرضا بقيمة 400 ألف دولار لأداء ديو مع فنان إسرائيلي”، مشدداً على أن القضية الفلسطينية هي قضيته
وأضاف أنه “مهووس بفكرة الموت”، موضحاً أن ذلك ليس خوفاً ولكن يفكر دائماً فيما سيكتبه التاريخ، وقال “أنت عابر سبيل لكن مواقفك هي التي ستبقى، والتاريخ لا يمكن شراؤه بالنقود
يُذكر أن بوشناق معروف بتأييده الكبير للقضية الفلسطينية، وأدى عشرات الأغاني المؤيدة لحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني في أرضه المحتلة من قبل “إسرائيل”، والرافضة لصفقة القرن، من بينها “ماذا ستفعل” و”أجراس العودة” و”خليك صامد يا فلسطيني”. ودعا أيضاً إلى زيارة القدس وقال عنها إنها “أرض العرب وعلينا زيارتها دوماً
