In light of the disturbances that the region is witnessing the United States of America is pushing the groups under its control to try to open additional fronts serving the American interests, and additionally in an attempt to undermine any Syrian-Turkish rapprochement.

On Monday dawn armed members of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” known as “Qasad” have shelled sites and positions of the Syrian Army in the Eastern part of Dayr az-Zūr with mortar and artillery shells.
The armed members of “Qasad” also targeted the towns and villages of Ṣabayhān, al-Būlīl and Mūḥasan with mortar and artillery shells and the town of Biqarṣ with an armed drone. The snipers of Qasad targeted any movement on the opposite side of the Euphrates, which led to the injury of civilians by bullets.
On Sunday 6 troops got martyred and another 11 injured within the auxiliary forces of the Syrian Army after a drone targeted a car that was transporting them on the road leading to the city of al-Būkamāl in rural Dayr az-Zūr in Eastern Syria.
The escalation by Qasad comes at the same time when it imposed a siege on the cities of al-Ḥasaka and al-Qāmišlī amidst the ongoing state of tension that broke out between the Qasad and the tribal forces in Dayr az-Zūr.
Sources of al-Mayadeen pointed out that “the governmental side considered the tribal uprising against Qasad to be caused by the latter’s behavior against them and that it is a tribal uprising expressing that the tribes refuse the current situation in the region”.
The sources believed that the Qasad by its siege against the city centers of al-Ḥasaka and al-Qāmišlī that are under the control of the government wants to use this as a pressure card to prevent the attacks of the tribes against it and as pressure not allow any Syrian rapprochement with Türkiye”. They claim that “the United States of America is behind the steps of Qasad that is conducting inhuman methods to gain political and tactical advantages”.
Since last Wednesday the Qasad forces are sieging the city centers of al-Ḥasaka and al-Qāmišlī that are under the control of the Syrian Army, as they prevent the entry of water, fuel, flour, foodstuffs and medicine supplies, while also preventing the entry and exit of civilians from and to the region.
The Qasad carried out its siege days after an fierce attack by the fighters of the “Army of tribes and clans” against its headquarters in the eaters and western countrysides of Dayr az-Zūr, keeping many of them under control for hours and obtaining weapons and munitions from roughly 45 Qasad troops, including two leadership members.

قصف مسلحو “قوات سوريا الديمقراطية”، المعروفة بـ”قسد”، فجر اليوم، مواقع ونقاط تابعة للجيش. السوري، في ريف دير الزور الشرقي، بقذائف الهاون والمدفعية.
كما استهدف مسلحو “قسد” قرى وبلدات صبيخان والبوليل وموحسن، بقذائف الهاون والمدفعية، وبلدة بقرص. بطائرة “درون” مسلحة، وقام القناصة التابعين لـ”قسد” باستهداف أي تحرك. على الضفة المقابلة لنهر الفرات ما أدى إلى إصابة مدنيين برصاصهم
وأمس، استشهد 6 عناصر وجُرِح 11 آخرين من القوات الرديفة للجيش السوري جراء استهداف طائرة مسيرة لسيارة. كانت تنقلهم على الطريق الواصلة إلى مدينة البوكمال في ريف دير الزور شرقي سوريا.
ويأتي تصعيد “قسد”، بالتوازي مع فرضها حصاراً على مدينتي الحسكة والقامشلي ضمن حالة التوتر. المستمرة التي تسود بينها وبين قوات العشائر في دير الزور.
وأشارت مصادر للميادين، أنّ “الجانب الحكومي اعتبر حراك العشائر ضد قسد سببه ممارسات الأخيرة بحقهم. وهو حراك شعبي يُعبّر عن رفض العشائر للواقع القائم في المنطقة”.
ورأت المصادر، أنّ “قسد تُريد من خلال حصارها لمركز مدينتي الحسكة والقامشلي الخاضعتين لسيطرة الحكومة. استخدامهم كورقة لمنع هجمات العشائر ضدها، والضغط لعدم حصول تقارب سوري مع تركيا“، مرجحاً أن. “تكون الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وراء خطوات قسد التي تُمارس أساليب لا إنسانية لتحقيق مكاسب سياسية وميدانية
وتحاصر قوات “قسد”، منذ يوم الأربعاء الماضي، وسط مدينتي الحسكة والقامشلي الواقعتين تحت سيطرة الجيش. السوري إذ تمنع دخول صهاريج المياه والوقود والطحين والمواد الغذائية والأدوية، بالإضافة. إلى منع حركة دخول وخروج المدنيين من وإلى المنطقة.
ونفّذت “قسد” حصارها بعد هجوم عنيف لمقاتلي “جيش القبائل والعشائر” على مقرّاتها في ريفي دير الزور. الشرقي والغربي، والسيطرة لساعات على عددٍ منها، مع اغتنام أسلحة وذخائر واحتجاز نحو 45 من عناصرها من بينهم قياديين إثنين
