The Syrian Ministry of Defense announces that an Israeli aggression targeting air defense positions in the southern region and confirms that only material damage took place.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defense batteries confronted an Israeli missile aggression on Friday dawn carried out from the direction of the north of the occupied Palestine.

The Ministry added that “the Israeli aggression targeted air defense positions in the southern region and has led to material losses”.

22 members of the Jerusalem Battalion made up by Palestinian volunteers of the Syrian Army’s auxiliary forces lost their lives in an ambush by the Dā‘iš terrorist organization in rural Ḥimṣ in Eastern Syria.

Security sources explained that the ambush took place on Thursday “during the shift change between the patrol units close to the town of aṭ-Ṭayba in the area of as-Suhna to the northeast of Palmyra in rural Ḥimṣ, where clashes took place lasting for around an hour”.

The sources added that “the terrorists during the clashes used missiles shells targeting the busses that transported the troops of the auxiliary forces”.

At the same time with its aggression against the Gaza Strip during the last 7 months the Israeli Occupation launches repeated attacks in Syria, as Syria supports the resistance, and in an attempt to achieve victory and to cover its repeated shortcomings on the Gaza front.

وزارة الدفاع السورية تعلن صد عدوان إسرائيلي استهدف مواقع الدفاع الجوي في المنطقة الجنوبية، وتؤكد وقوع أضرار مادية فقط

أعلنت وزارة الدفاع السورية تصدي الدفاعات الجوية، فجر اليوم الجمعة، لعدوان إسرائيلي بالصواريخ نفذ من اتجاه شمالي فلسطين المحتلة. 

وأضافت الوزارة أنّ “العدوان الإسرائيلي استهدف مواقع الدفاع الجوي في المنطقة الجنوبية، وأدى إلى وقوع خسائر مادية”.

وارتقى 22 عنصراً من لواء القدس المكون من المتطوعين الفلسطينيين في القوات الرديفة للجيش السوري في كمين نفذه تنظيم “داعش” الإرهابي في ريف حمص الشرقي في سوريا.

وأوضحت مصادر أمنية أنّ الكمين وقع أمس الخميس “أثناء عملية تبديل بين الوحدات المناوبة قرب بلدة الطيبة في منطقة السخنة شمالي شرقي تدمر في ريف حمص الشرقي، حيث وقعت اشتباكات استمرت نحو ساعة”.

وأضافت المصادر أن “الإرهابيين استخدموا خلال الاشتباكات القذائف الصاروخية في استهداف الحافلات التي تنقل عناصر القوات الرديفة
