The Syrian air defenses confront an Israeli aggression targeting the vicinity of Aleppo airport and the capital Damascus.
The Syrian SANA news agency announced on Wednesday night that numerous explosions were heard in the skies of Aleppo, Northern Syria.
The correspondent of al-Mayadeen confirmed that “the area of Aleppo International Airport was targeted with a number of missiles”. Also confirming that “the losses were only material”.
A Syrian military source pointed out that “the Israeli enemy targeted the Aleppo International Airport with a missile strike which caused some material damage”.
Also the Syrian air defenses confronted 4 Israeli missiles at the southern outskirts of Aleppo and shot them down.
Out correspondent pointed out that “the Israeli missiles were confronted close to Damascus International Airport, the Damascus–Darā‘ highway and around the city of al-Kiswa to the south of Damascus”.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on 25 August “the injury of two civilians and the fall of material damage and that fires broke out” in result of an Israeli aggression targeting the cities of Ḥamā and Ṭarṭūs.
On 14 August an Israeli areal aggression was committed with missile barrages from southeast of Beirut targeting some positions in Damascus outskirts.
The military sources reported that “the aggression against Damascus outskirts coincided at that time with another aggression from above the sea targeting some positions in the south of Ṭarṭūs province”.

الدفاعات الجوية السورية تتصدى لعدوان إسرائيلي استهدف محيط مطار حلب، والعاصمة دمشق.
أعلنت وكالة الأنباء السورية “سانا”، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، سماع دويّ انفجارات عدة في سماء مدينة حلب، شمالي سوريا.
وأكّد مراسل الميادين أنّه “تمّ استهداف محيط مطار حلب الدولي بعدد من الصواريخ”، مؤكداً أنّ “الأضرار اقتصرت على الماديات”.
وأشار مصدر عسكري سوري إلى أنّ “العدو الإسرائيلي استهدف مطار حلب الدولي بضربة صاروخية أدت إلى وقوع أضرار مادية”.
أيضاً، تصدت الدفاعات الجوية السورية لـ4 صواريخ إسرائيلية في ريف دمشق الجنوبي، وأسقطتها.
وأشار مراسلنا إلى أن “التصدي للصواريخ الإسرائيلية تم قرب طريق مطار دمشق الدولي واوتستراد دمشق درعا ومحيط مدينة الكسوة جنوبي دمشق”.
وكانت وزارة الدفاع السورية أعلنت، في 25 آب/أغسطس، “إصابة مدنيين اثنين ووقوع خسائر مادية واندلاع حرائق” من جراء عدوان إسرائيلي استهدف محيط مدينتي حماة وطرطوس.
وفي 14 آب/أغسطس، نفّذ العدو الإسرائيلي عدواناً جوياً برشقات من الصواريخ من اتجاه جنوبي شرقي بيروت، مستهدفاً بعض النقاط في ريف دمشق.
وأفاد مصدر عسكري بأن “العدوان على ريف دمشق، تزامن حينها مع عدوان آخر من اتجاه البحر، مستهدفاً بعض النقاط جنوبي محافظة طرطوس”.
