The forces of the Israeli Occupation carried out airdrop in the area of al-Kiswa in the outskirts of Damascus after a series of airstrikes against the area amidst Israeli helicopters landing in the city of as-Suwaydā’ in the south of the country.

On Thursday al-Mayadeen reported that the forces of the Israeli Occupation carried out an airdrop in the area of al-Kiswa in the outskirts of Damascus.
The correspondent pointed out that the Israeli Occupation “demolished installations after the airdrop in the area of al-Kiswa”, which lasted for two hours.
Before the airdrop the warplanes of the Israeli Occupation launched airstrikes targeting the surroundings of Mount al-Māni‘ close to the city of al-Kiswa in the western outskirts of Damascus.
The local media rerouted that the Occupation forces carried out 6 airstrikes targeting military positions at Mount al-Māni‘ that divides Damascus from its surroundings from one side and the Ḥawrān Plains on the other. There were no reports about deaths or injuries.
After roughly two hours of the bombardment the warplanes of the Israeli Occupation renewed their bombardment of the area targeting the same military positions.
Israeli helicopters landed in as-Suwaydā’
After the second round of airstrikes several Israeli helicopters landed in as-Suwaydā’ Province at the same time with reconnaissance planes cruising the skies of the outskirts of Damascus and al-Qunayṭra.
Also Israeli forces were raiding close to the town of an-Nāṣira in the rural area of al-Qunayṭra in the south of the country.
At the same time the Syrian news channel reported that the planes of the Israeli Occupation were heavily cruising in the skies of the capital Damascus, where the the Israeli airstrikes targeted the 76th Battalion in Ḥarğala in rural Damascus.
It was also reported that warplanes were cruising in the skies of the city of Dayr az-Zūr and the eastern areas.
In addition to that the Israeli media reported that Israeli planes “bombarded Syrian bases at the same time with tanks entering into the outskirts of Damascus from the south”, pointing out that Israeli commandos dropped in two planes in the outskirts of Damascus.
The Syrian army apprehended monitoring devices close to Mount al-Māni‘
Following the Israeli aggressions a governmental source revealed to the SANA news agency that the Syrian army “on 26 August apprehended monitoring devices close to Mount al-Māni‘ in southern Damascus, when the positions suffered Israeli attacks while it was dealt with”.
The source added to SANA that the Israeli airstrikes “continued to prevent the arrival of the Syrian army to the area until late night of 27 August”.
It pointed out that groups of the Syrian army “demolished parts of the systems by targeting it with appropriate weaponry and withdrew the bodies of the fallen”.
Later on the Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes against the positions that was followed by an airdrop, though according to the source the details are not known.
The Israeli Occupation had launched an aggression on Tuesday against a military position close to the city of al-Kiswa, close to the as-Suwaydā’–Damascus highway, directly targeting an “elite” force of the Syrian Defense Ministry.

ولفت مراسلنا إلى أنّ الاحتلال الإسرائيلي “قام بتدمير أجهزة بعد الإنزال. الجوي في منطقة الكسوة”، والذي استمر نحو ساعتين
وقبل الإنزال الجوي، شنّت طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غارات جوية استهدفت. محيط جبل المانع قرب مدينة الكسوة بريف دمشق الغربي.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام محلية بأنّ قوات الاحتلال نفّذت 6 غارات جوية استهدفت. مواقع عسكرية في جبل المانع، الفاصل بين دمشق والمناطق المحيطة بها من جهة، وسهل حوران من جهة. أخرى، من دون ورود أنباء عن وقوع شهداء أو جرحى.
وبعد نحو ساعتين من ذلك القصف، جدّدت طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غاراتها على. المنطقة، مستهدفة مواقع عسكرية سابقة.
هبوط مروحيات إسرائيلية في السويداء
وعقب الموجة الثانية من القصف، هبطت عدة طائرات مروحية إسرائيلية في محافظة. السويداء، بالتزامن مع تحليق طائرات الاستطلاع في أجواء ريفي دمشق والقنيطرة.
كما توغّلت قوة إسرائيلية أيضاً قرب قرية. الناصرية في ريف القنيطرة جنوبي البلاد.
وبالتزامن، أفادت الإخبارية السورية عن تحليق مكثّف لطيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. في سماء العاصمة دمشق، حيث استهدفت غارات إسرائيلية اللواء 76 في حرجلة في ريف دمشق.
كما أُفيد عن تحليق طيران حربي في أجواء مدينة دير الزور والريف الشرقي.
إلى ذلك، نقلت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أنّ الطيران الإسرائيلي “يقصف قواعد سورية. بالتزامن مع دخول الدبابات إلى أطراف دمشق من جهتها الجنوبية”، مشيرةً إلى إنزال قوات كوماندوس. إسرائيلية في مكانين في ريف دمشق.
الجيش السوري عثر على أجهزة مراقبة قرب جبل المانع
وعقب الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية، كشف مصدر حكومي لوكالة سانا أنّ الجيش السوري “عثر. في 26 آب/أغسطس على أجهزة مراقبة قرب جبل المانع جنوبي دمشق، في حين. تعرّض الموقع لهجوم إسرائيلي أثناء التعامل معها”.
وأضاف المصدر لسانا أنّ الاستهدافات الجوية الإسرائيلية “استمرت في منع وصول. الجيش السوري إلى المنطقة حتى مساء 27 آب/أغسطس الجاري”.
وأشار إلى أنّ مجموعات من الجيش السوري “قامت بتدمير جزء من المنظومات. عبر استهدافها بالسلاح المناسب وسحب جثامين الشهداء”.
ولاحقاً، شنّت الطائرات الإسرائيلية عدة غارات على الموقع، أعقبها إنزال. جوي لم تعرف تفاصيله بعد، بحسب المصدر.
