The Saudi media outlets agitated Egypt and its president “ ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ as-Sīsī” for military intervention in Libya to save its man there, “Halīfa Ḥaftar”, who lately suffered several defeats and failed in his plan to take control over the Libyan capital Tripoli

This comes days after the words of “as-Sīsī” on Saturday, in which after reviewing the units of the air force in the province of Maṭrūḥ (Western Egypt) adjacent to the border with Libya he held a speech to the army forces: “Be ready to perform any mission here, within our borders, or if the matter necessitates it outside of our borders”.
In one of the agitating outlets, the “ ‘Ukāẓ” newspaper describes the standing of “as-Sīsī” about the Libyan crisis as “decisive” against what it called “the project of Turkey to revive the Caliphate in Libya”.
The newspaper claimed that “the worries of Egypt are the same invading dreams of the Turks, which do not only target Libya but the whole Arab region under the Brotherhood’s umbrella and sent direct warnings to the Turkish regime”.
The newspaper said that the words of “as-Sīsī” are “the most aggressive since the beginning of Erdoğan’s intervention in the Libyan matter and its threat to the Egyptian sovereignty”.
The most severe, which came in the speech of “as-Sīsī” came personally by “as-Sīsī”, when he said that “any direct intervention by Egypt in Libya now has international legality both as self-defense and built of the only elected legal authority in Libya, which is the House of Representatives (in Ṭubruq)”.
It should be noted that the Saudi position came the same way as the Egyptian, when the announcement of the Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed that the security of Egypt is inseparable from the security of the kingdom and the Arab nation as a whole, also confirming the position of the kingdom supporting Egypt for its right to defend its borders and its people.

واصلت وسائل الإعلام السعودية، تحريض مصر ورئيسها “عبد الفتاح السيسي”، على التدخل العسكري في ليبيا لإنقاذ رجلها هناك “خليفة حفتر” الذي مني بالعديد من الخسائر مؤخرا، وفشلت خطته في السيطرة على العاصمة الليبية طرابلس
جاء ذلك بعد أيام من كلمة لـ”السيسي”، السبت، قال فيها عقب تفقده وحدات من القوات الجوية بمحافظة مطروح (غرب مصر)، المتاخمة للحدود مع ليبيا، مخاطبا قوات الجيش: “كونوا مستعدين لتنفيذ أي مهمة هنا داخل حدودنا، أو إذا تطلب الأمر خارج حدودنا
وفي إحدى وصلاتها التحريضية، وصفت صحيفة “عكاظ” السعودية موقف “السيسي” من الأزمة الليبية بالـ”حازم”، تجاه ما سمته “مشروع تركيا لإحياء الخلافة في ليبيا
وزعمت الصحيفة أن “المارد المصري نسف أوهام الغزاة الأتراك التي لا تستهدف ليبيا فحسب وإنما تستهدف المنطقة العربية ككل بمظلة إخوانية فبعثت رسائل تحذيرية مباشرة للنظام التركي
وقالت الصحيفة إن كلمة “السيسي” هي “الأعنف منذ بدء التدخلات الأردوغانية في الشأن الليبي وتهديداته للسيادة المصرية
وأشدت بحديث “السيسي” بما جاء على لسان “السيسي” في الخطاب، عندما قال إن “أي تدخل مباشر لمصر في ليبيا بات تتوفر له الشرعية الدولية سواء للدفاع عن النفس أو بناء على السلطة الشرعية الوحيدة المنتخبة في ليبيا وهو مجلس النواب (في طبرق)
يشار إلى أن الموقف السعودي جاء متماهياً مع الموقف المصري عندما أكد بيان وزارة الخارجية السعودية أن أمن مصر جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن المملكة والأمة العربية بأكملها، مؤكداً وقوف المملكة إلى جانب مصر في حقها في الدفاع عن حدودها وشعبها
