The Yemeni armed forces announce the targeting of the warplanes’ encampment at Abhā international airport with 4 drones and confirm that the hits were precise.
The Yemeni armed forces announced that “the encampment of the warplanes at Abhā airport was targeted with Ṣamād-3 and Qāṣif-2K type drones”, confirming that “the hits were precise”.
The official spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces Brigadier General Yaḥyā Sarī‘ said that: “The Abhā international airport uses military equipment to bomb the Yemeni people and the enemy Saudi regime ignores all our previous and repeated warnings about using civilian planes for military purposes”.
Sarī‘ added that: “Targeting the Abhā airport is a retaliation for the continued areal bombardment and the continued vicious blockade against Yemen”.
Before that, the Saudi official television channel announced that “the al-Ḥūtīs targeted the Abhā international airport in the Saudi province of ‘Asīr”, and said that: “the ongoing fire in the city after the bombardment from Yemen has been contained”.
Later on, the “Saudi Ihbāriyya” channel published pictures of the wreckages of the drones claimed to be of the “Qāsif” type.
It should be mentioned that last October the Anṣār Allah Movement targeted the Abhā international airport in three waves within 24 hours.
The official spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces Brigadier General Yaḥyā Sarī‘ at that time confirmed that “the hits were precise”, pointing out that the bombardment came “as a response for the crimes of the aggression and for its continuing blockade against our people”.

وسبق ذلك أن أعلن التلفزيون السعودي الرسمي “استهداف الحوثيين مطار أبها الدولي في عسير السعودية”، وقال إنه “تم السيطرة على حريق في طائرة مدنية إثر قصف من اليمن
وفي وقتٍ لاحق نشرت “الإخبارية السعودية” صوراً لحطام طائرة مسيّرة قالت إنها من طراز “قاصف
يذكر أنه في شهر تشرين الأول/أوكتوبر الماضي، استهدفت أنصار الله مطار أبها الدولي بثلاث هجمات خلال 24 ساعة
وأكد المتحدث باسم القوات المسلحة العميد يحيى سريع في حينها، أن “الإصابة كانت دقيقة”، مشيراً إلى أن هذا الاستهداف يأتي “رداً على جرائم العدوان وحصاره المستمر على شعبنا
