The Tunisian president reveals that he discusses the common threats between Tunisia and Algeria with the Algerian Foreign Minister. The Youth Council of the “an-Nahḍa Movement” urges the leadership of the Movement for dialogue with the president.
Tunisian President Qays Sa‘īd has met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramṭān La‘māmara in the Carthage Palace, who on his behalf pointed out that he is on a regional Arab and African trip “to study the common matters about the next Arab Summit”.
La‘māmara discussed with Sa‘īd the common threats between Tunisia and Algeria, stressing the necessity for “solidarity between the Arab nations”.
La‘māmara was conducting a trip to several countries during the last few days to study a number of matters in the region. Thus he visited Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia.

In the same context President Sa‘īd while meeting with the director of the Tunisian Central Bank Marwān al-‘Abbādī revealed that there has been contacts with “friendly countries” to ease the monetary paralysis of the country, thus confirming his vow to combat those he called “the sharks of the land and the seas”.
On the other hand the Youth Council of the “an-Nahḍa Movement” urged the leadership of the movement to engage in dialogue with the president and to “take necessary agreement for the benefit of Tunisia”.
The council stressed the necessity to “take necessary monetary revisions to reach the lessons”, thus demanding the leader of the movement Rāšid al-Ġannūšī “to make up a national leadership to save and safeguard the needs of the youth, so that this leadership becomes the beginning of a new path of the legislative leadership within the movement”. Thus according to the council.
The “an-Nahḍa Movement” believed that “the extraordinary measures taken by the president are a breach of the constitution and the law”.
It stated: “The measures of Sa‘īd are an aggression against the foundations of democracy and against the personal and civil liberties”. Thus they expressed, that “the possible and applicable way out from the problem will not come be the personalized concentration of power”.
Before that came the confirmation by the Tunisian President that “Tunisia works within the boundaries of the laws and liberties, and what has been done was built on the constitution and not beyond the constitution”.
The Tunisian presidency had issued an order suspending all the privileges of the National Assembly members for a month. This came within a series of decisions taken by the Tunisian President after heading an emergency meeting with then army and security leadership. During this Sa‘īd took over the “executive power”, deposed head of the government Hišām al-Mašīšī, and froze all the privileges of the legislative assembly and lifting the immunity of all parliament members.

الرئيس التونسي يناقش مع وزير الخارجية الجزائري التحديات المشتركة بين تونس والجزائر، ومجلس شباب “حركة النهضة” يدعو قيادة الحركة إلى التحاور مع رئاسة الجمهورية.
التقى الرئيس قيس سعيد في قصر قرطاج وزير الخارجية الجزائري رمطان لعمامرة، الذي لفت بدوره إلى أنه يجري جولة على بلدان عربية وأفريقية “لبحث قضايا مشتركة من مسألة القمة العربية المقبلة”.
وناقش لعمامرة مع سعيد التحديات المشتركة بين تونس والجزائر، مشدداً على ضرورة “التضامن بين الشعوب العربية”.
وكان لعمامرة أجرى جولة في عدد من الدول خلال الأيام الماضية، لبحث عدد من القضايا في المنطقة، حيث زار الجزائر ومصر والسودان وأثيوبيا.

في سياق منفصل، كشف الرئيس سعيد خلال استقباله محافظ البنك المركزي التونسي، مروان العباسي، عن اتصالات تجري مع “بلدان صديقة” لخفض العجز المالي للبلاد، مؤكداً العزم على محاربة من سماهم “حيتان البر والبحر”.
من جهة ثانية، دعا مجلس شباب “حركة النهضة” قيادة الحركة إلى التحاور مع رئاسة الجمهورية و”القيام بالتوافقات اللازمة من أجل مصلحة تونس”.
المجلس شدد على ضرورة “القيام بالقراءات النقدية اللازمة لاستخلاص الدروس والعبر”، مطالباً زعيم الحركة راشد الغنوشي “بتكوين قيادة وطنية للإنقاذ تتضمن كفاءات شبابية، على أن تكون هذه القيادة بداية لمسار التجديد في القيادة التنفيذية داخل الحركة”، وفق المجلس.
وكانت “حركة النهضة” اعتبرت أن “الإجراءات الاستثنائية التي لجأ إليها رئيس الجمهورية خارقة للدستور والقانون”.
وقالت إن “إجراءات سعيد اعتداء صريح على مقتضيات الديمقراطية وعلى الحقوق الفردية والمدنية”، معتبرة أن “المخرج الممكن والفعّال للمشاكل لن يتم عبر الاستفراد بالحكم”.
سبق ذلك، تأكيد الرئيس التونسي أن “تونس تعمل في إطار الحقوق والحريات وما تم اللجوء إليه بناء على الدستور وليس خارج الدستور”.
وكانت الرئاسة التونسية قد أصدرت قراراً بتعليق كل اختصاصات مجلس نواب الشعب لمدة شهر. وذلك ضمن سلسلة قرارات اتخذها الرئيس التونسي، بعد ترؤسه اجتماعاً طارئاً للقيادات العسكرية والأمنية، من ضمنها أن يتولى سعيّد “السلطة التنفيذية”، وإعفاء رئيس الحكومة هشام المشيشي، وتجميد كل اختصاصات المجلس النيابي، ورفع الحصانة عن كل أعضاء البرلمان
