President of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese Parliament Muḥammad Ra‘ad responded to the statements of the Morgen Ortega American Deputy Envoy to the Middle East, in which she attacked Ḥizb Allah from the Lebanese Presidential Palace.

On Friday Ra‘ad confirmed that the statement of Ortega is “to sabotage a national component of Lebanon, which is part of the National Accord and of the Lebanese political life”, accusing her with “outrageous interference in the Lebanese sovereignty and crossing all diplomatic and international relations boundaries”.

Ra‘ad described the statement of Ortega as “full of hate and irresponsibility”, pointing out that she “shows here animosity to a Lebanese side repelling the Israeli aggression and defeating it”.

Ra‘ad added that whoever “wants to talk about corruption cannot foster terrorism”, and confirmed that what the Israeli Occupation is doing is “emanating from the American policy betraying the diplomatic credibility the American administration is claiming everywhere and every time”.

He underlined that “the ugly picture Israel’s war against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon had shown”, is enough to outline who “is supporting terrorism, arming it and financing it, who is chasing away people from their land and takes away their rights crossing all international laws and norms”.

He added that “the one who triumphed is the one who showed the face of the aggressor, which showed there that this aggressor is committing mass genocide against civilians, children and women, against the safe houses and the hospitals, who destroys residential neighborhoods, being occupied not even having the right to defend itself”.

The President of the Loyalty to the Resistance confirmed that “they are betting against the will of the people holding on to the right of resistance”, underlining that this choice “is defending Lebanon” within the equation of: Army, People and Resistance”.

About this equation, Ra‘ad said that it is “the equation of the reality that Lebanon can be proud to defend its sovereignty by”.

The words of Ra‘ad came after American Deputy Envoy to the Middle East stated that the United States “confirms the matter that the Ḥizb [Allah] is not participating in the new Lebanese government in any form”.

Ortega after her meeting with Lebanese President Joseph ‘Awn had claimed earlier of Friday that the Israeli Occupation “defeated Ḥizb Allah”, expressing the “gratitude of the United States to Israel for this”.

The American official added that Washington “is committed to the withdrawal of Israel from Southern Lebanon” on 18 February.

Following the statement of Ortega the Media Office of the Presidency is a statement said that “some of what was stated by the American Envoy to the Middle East from Ba‘abdā [the Lebanese Presidential Palace – Amaraia] is considered her opinion and the presidency is not concerned”.

ردّ رئيس كتلة الوفاء للمقاومة في البرلمان اللبناني، النائب محمد رعد، على تصريحات مورغان أورتاغوس، نائبة المبعوث. الأميركي إلى الشرق الأوسط، والتي هاجمت فيها حزبَ الله،  من القصر الرئاسي اللبناني.

وأكد رعد، اليوم الجمعة، أنّ تصريح أورتاغوس “يتطاول على مكوّن وطني في لبنان، هو جزء من الوفاق. الوطني، ومن الحياة السياسية اللبنانية”، متهماً إياها بـ”التدخل السافر في السيادة. اللبنانية، والخروج عن كل اللباقات الدبلوماسية ومقتضيات العلاقات الدولية”.

ووصف رعد تصريح أورتاغوس بـ”الزاخر بالحقد وبانعدام المسؤولية”، مشيراً إلى أنّها “تُظهر عدائيتها لمكوّن. لبناني، تصدّى للعدوان الإسرائيلي وهزمه

وأضاف رعد أنّ الذي “يريد أن يتحدث عن الفساد لا يحتضن الإرهاب”، وأكد أنّ ما يفعله الاحتلال. الإسرائيلي، وهو “محتضَن من السياسة الأميركية، يطعن في صدقية الديمقراطية، التي تدعيها الإدارة الأميركية، في كل زمان ومكان”.

وشدّد على أنّ “صورة القبح، التي أظهرتها حرب إسرائيل ضدّ قطاع غزة ولبنان”، تكفي لتحديد من “يدعم. الإرهاب ويسلّحه ويموّله، ومن يهجّر الناس من أرضهم ويسلبهم حقوقهم، متجاوزاً كل القانون الدولي والمعايير الدولية”.

وأضاف أن “المنتصر هو من كشف صورة المعتدي، والتي ظهر فيها أنّه يمارس الإبادة الجماعية ضدّ المدنيين. والأطفال والنساء، وضدّ البيوت الآمنة والمستشفيات، ويُدمّر الأحياء السكنية، وهو محتل لا يحقّ له حتى الدفاع عن النفس”.  

وأكد رئيس كتلة الوفاء للمقاومة أنّ “الرهان هو على إرادة الشعب المتمسك بخيار المقاومة”، مشدداً على. أنّ هذا الخيار “يحمي لبنان، ضمن معادلة الجيش والشعب والمقاومة

وبشأن هذه المعادلة، قال رعد إنّها “المعادلة الواقعية، التي. يستطيع لبنان أن يفخر في أنّه يحمي سيادته من خلالها”.

وتأتي كلمة رعد، بعد أن صرّحت نائبة المبعوث الأميركي إلى الشرق الأوسط بأنّ الولايات المتحدة “تؤكد مسألة. عدم مشاركة الحزب في الحكومة اللبنانية الجديدة، في أي شكل من الأشكال”.

وزعمت أورتاغوس، بعد لقائها الرئيس اللبناني، جوزاف عون، في قصر بعبدا، في وقت سابق اليوم الجمعة، أنّ. الاحتلال الإسرائيلي “هزم حزب الله”، معربةً عن “امتنان الولايات المتحدة لإسرائيل بسبب ذلك”.

وأضافت المسؤولة الأميركية أنّ واشنطن “ملتزمة انسحاب إسرائيل من. جنوبي لبنان، في الـ18 من شباط/فبراير الحالي”.

وعقب تصريح أورتاغوس، أصدر مكتب الإعلام في رئاسة الجمهورية بياناً قال فيه إنّ “بعض ما صدر. عن نائبة المبعوث الأميركي إلى الشرق الأوسط، من بعبدا، يعبّر عن وجهة نظرها، والرئاسة غير معنيّة به
