Night demonstrations broke out in six Tunisian cities including the capital Tunis and the city of Sūsa at the coast protesting against the hard economic and social situation in the country.

The Tunisian media mentioned that: “the protests prove out in six Tunisian cities, including the capital Tunis and the coastal city of Sūsa”.
Witnesses attested that: “The security forces launched gas grenades to break up the hundreds of protestors, who closed down the roads and burned tires”.
At the same time Tunisian Prime Minister Hišām al-Mašīšī yesterday, Saturday issued an order changing 11 ministerial portfolios, including that of the interior, the justice, and the energy.
Al-Mašīšī said: “The aim of these new ministerial changes is to bring fresh blood to the government”.
It should be mentioned that the present Tunisian Prime Minister Hišām al-Mašīšī swore into the constitution in the Parliament on 2 September 2020, after a sharp political crisis between the Parliament, the Presidency and the government.
The government of al-Mašīšī is the third one since the last parliamentary elections in October 2019, after the previous two led by Ilyās al-Fahfāh and Yūsaf al-Šāhid both resigned.

وذكرت وسائل إعلام تونسية أن “الاحتجاجات انطلقت في ست مدن تونسية من بينها العاصمة تونس ومدينة سوسة الساحلية
وقال شهود إن “قوات الأمن أطلقت قنابل الغاز لتفريق مئات المحتجين الذين أغلقوا الطرق وأحرقوا الإطارات”
هذا وأصدر رئيس الحكومة التونسي هشام المشيشي أمس السبت تعديلاً وزارياً شمل 11 حقيبة وزارية من بينها الداخلية والعدل والطاقة
وقال المشيشي إن “هدف التعديل الوزاري الجديد ضخ دماء جديدة في حكومته
