The Israeli core cabinet will gather to study “the chain of security developments” against the Iranian nuclear project. An Israeli commentator points out Tel Aviv being behind the recent attack on the facility on Naṭanz.
A military matters commentator on the “Wallah” website, Amīr Bū Habbūṭ cited Western sources that the Israeli Mossad “is responsible for the malfunction in the Iranian Naṭanz complex a day after the modern centrifuges were put into operation”.
The Israeli media based on intelligence sources added that the operation was “an Israeli cyberattack with the participation of the Mossad”.
The official spokesman of the Iranian Nuclear Energy Agency Behrūz Kamālvandī announced that the electricity grid in Naṭanz suffered an accident today early morning.
He mentioned that “the investigations are on the way to know the reasons leading up the accident and they will be announced later on”. Thus confirming that there were no human casualties of radioactive pollution by the accident.
Earlier today director of the Iranian Nuclear Energy Agency ‘Alī Akbar Ṣāleḥī stressed that the attempt on the Naṭanz plant reflects “the defeat of the opposers of the industrial and political development in Iran”, underlining the right of his country to “respond those executing and ordering the act the power plant suffered”.
According to what Kamālvandī said time the nuclear installation in last July suffered a fire causing “huge damages”, which led to slower progress on the centrifuges “on the middle run”.
In this context the Israeli media talked about guesses that the Israeli core cabinet will gather next Sunday in order to “discuss the Iranian situation”, thus being the first cabinet meeting in months.
The “Wallah” website said that Minister of Security Benny Gantz and Foreign Minister Gaby Ashkenazi turned to National Security Advisor Muir Bin Shabbat and “asked him to hold a cabinet meeting to inform the ministers about the developments and take decisions on the policies about a matter concerning Iran”.
According to what the “Wallah” website mentioned attorney-general Avechay Mandleblatt viewed that “there has to be a cabinet meeting because the chain of security developments about the Iranian matter has already led to an escalation, which happened without the cabinet being informed about it on an orderly fashion”.

وأضافت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، بالاعتماد على مصادر استخبارية، أن العملية عبارة عن “هجوم سايبر إسرائيلي شارك فيه الموساد
وكان المتحدث باسم منظمة الطاقة الذرية الإيرانية، بهروز كمالوندي، أعلن عن تعرض شبكة توزيع الكهرباء في “نطنز” لحادث فجر اليوم الأحد
وأشار إلى أن “التحقيقات جارية لمعرفة الأسباب المؤدية إلى الحادث، وسيتم الإعلان عنها في وقت لاحق”، مؤكداً عدم وقوع إصابات بشرية أو تلوث إشعاعي نتيجة للحادث
وفي وقت سابق اليوم، شدد رئيس منظمة الطاقة الذرية الإيرانية، علي أكبر صالحي، على أن التعرّض لمفاعل “نطنز” يعكس “هزيمة معارضي التطور الصناعي والسياسي في إيران”، مثبتاً حق بلاده بـ”الرد على منفذي وآمري فعل التعرض للمفاعل
وكانت المنشأة النووية تعرضت، في تموز/يوليو الماضي، لحريق تسب “بأحدث وأضرار جسيمة“، ما أدى لإبطاء تطوير أجهزة الطرد المركزي وإنتاجها “على المدى المتوسط”، وفق ما ذكر كمالوندي حينها
وفي السياق، تحدثت وسائل الإعلام الإسرائيلية عن توقعات باجتماع الحكومة الإسرائيلية المصغرة، يوم الأحد المقبل، من أجل “مناقشة الموضوع الإيراني”، لتكون أول جلسة لـ”الكابينت” منذ أشهر
وقال موقع “والاه” إن وزير الأمن، بيني غانتس، ووزير الخارجية، غابي أشكنازي، توجها إلى مستشار الأمن القومي، مئير بن شبات، و”طلبا منه عقد جلسة للكابينت لإبلاغ الوزراء بالمستجدات واتخاذ قرار حول السياسات في المواضيع التي تتعلق بإيران
ورأى المدعي العام، أفيخاي ماندلبليت، أنه “يجب عقد اجتماع للكابينت لأن سلسلة من التطورات الأمنية تتعلق بالموضوع الإيراني قد تؤدي إلى التصعيد قد حدثت من دون إبلاغ الكابينت بشأنها بشكل منظم”، حسب ما ذكر “والاه
