The United States informs the Iraqi Prime Minister that it opposes the law about the Popular Mobilization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī].

The correspondent of al-Mayadeen in Iraq had reported on Tuesday night that Washington opposes the continuation of the Popular Mobilization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī] Law and informed the Iraqi Prime Minister about that.

The correspondent pointed out the that “the law preserves the right of the Popular Mobilization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī] Organization’s fighters, organizes its work and aligns the activities of the Mobilization with the laws even more”.

In this context he continued that Iran “will not allow the warning sirens to stop at the occupied lands”, as “the colonists will not find a chance to escape from the shelters”.

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee raised a draft resolution law about the Popular Mobilization Organization to the Presidency of the Iraqi Parliament in order to vote on it.

American State Secretary Marco Rubio in a conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Muḥammad Šayyā‘ as-Sūdānī expressed the “severe” concerns of the United States about the draft resolution of the Popular Mobilization Law that is presented now to the parliament.

He claimed that this legislation “increases the Iranian influence and the armed groups that are infringing on the sovereignty of Iraq”. Thus according to his expressions.

أفاد مراسل الميادين في بغداد، مساء يوم الثلاثاء، أنّ واشنطن تعارض تمرير. قانون الحشد الشعبي وأبلغت رئيس الوزراء العراقي بذلك.

وأشار مراسلنا، إلى أنّ “القانون يحفظ حقوق مقاتلي هيئة الحشد الشعبي وينظم. عملها ويصبغ نشاط الحشد بالقانون أكثر”.

وأوصت لجنة الأمن والدفاع النيابية برفع مشروع قانون هيئة الحشد الشعبي إلى. رئاسة مجلس النواب العراقي تمهيداً للتصويت عليه.

وكان قد عبّر وزير الخارجية الأميركي ماركو روبيو في حديثٍ مع رئيس الوزراء العراقي. محمد شياع السوداني، عن قلق الولايات المتحدة “الشديد” بشأن مشروع قانون هيئة الحشد الشعبي المعروض حالياً على مجلس النواب.
