The Popular Mobilization Organization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī] in Iraq announces in a statement that a number of martyrs fell and many injured following a targeted attack that had been carried out by drones against forces belonging to the operation in the al-Ğazīra [Upper Iraq – Amaraia] within the Mobilization at the district of Ğarf aṣ-Ṣahr.

The Popular Mobilization Organization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī] in Iraq announced in a night statement that a number of martyrs fell and many injured following a targeted attack that had been carried out by drones against forces belonging to the operation in the al-Ğazīra [Upper Iraq – Amaraia] within the Mobilization at the district of Ğarf aṣ-Ṣahr.

The Popular Mobilization explained in its statement that “the available informations suggest that the targeted attack of the two patrols belonging to the 47th Battalion of the Mobilization was carried out by missiles fired from drones”.

At 21:30 an explosion happened targeting two cars in the area of as-Sa‘īdāt and according to the informations on the ground the airstrike caused the fall of 3 martyrs.

Later on director of al-Mayadeen’s office in Iraq reported that an aggression also targeted the radars and the early warning systems at Ğarf aṣ-Ṣahr.

Sources at the Resistance confirmed to al-Mayadeen that the American army by its drones is the one that carried out these airstrikes.

Later on an American military sources told al-Mayadeen that the American forces in Iraq carried out a defensive airstrike in the area of al-Musayyab in Babel Province, claiming that it targeted fighters trying to launch an attack with drones and were posing a threat to the United States and the Coalition Forces.

Al-‘Āmirī condemns the aggression

Commenting the aggression Secretary General of the Badr Organization Hādī al-‘Āmirī issued a statement “in it strongly condemning the treacherous American aggression against our Iraqi security forces of the people of the Popular Mobilization at the area of Ğarf aṣ-Ṣahr”.

He also considered the aggression “coinciding with the Zionist aggression proves the unity of the aggressive doctrine and the level of widespread cooperation between its parties, the truth of the American role that has not restricted to fully support Zionism, but also supplement it by participating in the direct actions in the war against Gaza, Southern Lebanon and the rest of the other fronts”. Thus he called upon the Iraqi government to take swift and necessary actions in order to immediately expel the illegal American military presence from Iraq “protecting the lives of the Iraqis safeguarding the sovereignty of the country and its independence”.

أعلنت هيئة الحشد الشعبي في العراق، في بيان الليلة، وقوع عدد من الشهداء والجرحى. في إثر استهداف تمّ عبر طائرات مسيرة، لقوات تابعة لعمليات الجزيرة في الحشد، تعود لقاطع جرف النصر.

وأوضح الحشد الشعبي في بيانه أنّ “المعلومات المتوفرة تشير إلى أن استهداف الدوريتين التابعتين. للواء 47 بالحشد تمّ بواسطة صواريخ أطلقت من مسيرات”.

ووقع الانفجار في الساعة 21:30ـ، واستهدف سيارتين في منطقة السعيدات، وبحسب معلومات الميادين فقد أسفرت الغارة عن ارتقاء 3 شهداء.

ولاحقاً أفاد مدير مكتب الميادين في العراق بأنّ العدوان استهدف كذلك رادارات وتجهيزات إنذار مبكر في جرف النصر.

وأكّدت مصادر في المقاومة للميادين بأنّ الجيش الأميركي عبر طائراته المسيرة هو من نفّذ هذه الغارات.

ولاحقاً، أعلن مسؤول عسكري أميركي للميادين أنّ القوات الأميركية في العراق هي التي نفذت غارة جوية. دفاعية في منطقة المسيّب في محافظة بابل، زاعماً أنها استهدفت مقاتلين كانوا يحاولون شنّ هجوم. بالمسيرات وتشكّل تهديداً للولايات المتحدة وقوات التحالف.

العامري يدينان العدوان

وتعليقاً على العدوان أصدر الأمين العام لمنظمة بدر هادي العامري بياناً “دان فيه بشدة العدوانَ. الأميركي الآثم على قواتنا الأمنية العراقية من أبناء الحشد الشعبي في منطقة جرف النصر”. 

كما اعتبر أنّ العدوان “تزامنَ مع العدوان الصهيوني يؤكد وحدة المنهج العدواني، وحجم التنسيق. الواسع بين أطرافه، وحقيقة الدور الأميركي الذي لم يكتفِ بالدعم الشامل للصهاينة، بل تعداه للمشاركة الفعلية المباشرة في الحرب. على غزة وجنوب لبنان وسائر الجبهات الأخرى”، داعياً الحكومة العراقية لاتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة والسريعة من أجل رحيلٍ فوري. للوجود العسكري الأميركي غير الشرعي من العراق، “حمايةً لحياة العراقيين، وصوناً لسيادةِ البلد واستقلاليته
