The official Iranian sources deny to al-Mayadeen that any attack would have happened in Karağ, confirming that the electric shortage in by a sandstorm, not an aggression.

On Saturday night the official Iranian sources denied to al-Mayadeen that any security event would have happened on Iranian lands, pointing out that “there is no truth in the reports about the power facility in the city of Karağ to the west of the capital Tehran would have suffered an aggression”.

They pointed out that “the power was cut in areas of the city in result of a huge sandstorm that hit the city few hours ago”.

The sources also confirmed that “the repair teams are working of swiftly restoring the situation to normal”.

The Tasnim news agency also mentioned that an earthquake also hit to the west of Tehran with a magnitude of 4 on the Richter scale around 9 p.m.

Some Israeli platforms and sites and some Arabic and Persian language accounts on the social media circulated claims about an explosion at the power station in the Iranian city of Karağ, while other claims were about an explosion at a base of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

نفت مصادر رسمية إيرانية للميادين، مساء السبت، حصول أي حدث أمني على. الأراضي الإيرانية، مشيرةً إلى أنّ “لا صحة للأنباء حول تعرض محطة كهرباء في مدينة كرج غربي العاصمة طهران لاعتداء”.

ولفتت إلى أنّ “قطع الكهرباء في مناطق من المدينة، ناجم عن عاصفة. رملية ضخمة ضربت المدينة قبل نحو ساعة”.

كما أكّدت مصادرنا، أنّ “فرق الإمداد تعمل. بسرعة لإعادة الأمور إلى طبيعتها”.

كذلك، ذكرت وكالة “تسنيم” للأنباء، أنّ هزة أرضية حصلت غربي طهران. بلغت قوتها 4 درجات على مقياس “ريختر”، نحو الساعة التاسعة مساءً.

وكانت بعض المواقع والمنصات الإسرائيلية، إضافةً إلى حسابات باللغة العربية. والفارسية، قد تداولت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، مزاعم عن انفجار في محطة كهرباء في مدينة كرج. الإيرانية، ومزاعم أخرى عن انفجار في قاعدة تابعة لحرس الثورة الإيرانية
