Official spokesman of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Abū l-Faẓl Šekārğī warned against any ill-calculated behavior that may ignite a large-scale conflict in the region.

On Thursday Šekārğī confirmed that in case any confrontation broke out the American interests in the region will fall within the scope of the Iranian attack.

Šekārğī said: “We are not aiming for igniting a war, but we are not afraid of it”, adding “we will strongly defend our homeland and the interests of our people”.

The American military mobilization continues in the region and the United States threatens with launching an aggression against Iran, despite the rounds of the indirect negotiations about the Iran nuclear program.

حذّر المتحدث باسم القوات المسلحة الإيرانية العميد أبو الفضل شكارجي من أنّ أي تصرف. غير محسوب قد يشعل نزاعاً واسع النطاق في المنطقة

وأكّد شكارجي، اليوم الخميس، إنّه في حال اندلاع أي مواجهة فإن المصالح. الأميركية في المنطقة ستقع ضمن نطاق الاستهداف الإيراني.

وقال شكارجي “لا نسعى إلى إشعال الحروب. لكننا لا نخشاها”، مضيفاً “سندافع بقوة عن وطننا ومصالح شعبنا”.

ويتواصل الحشد العسكري الأميركي في المنطقة وتهدّد الولايات المتحدة بشنّ. عدوان على إيران، على الرغم من جولات المفاوضات غير المباشرة بشأن البرنامج النووي الإيراني
