Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General ‘Abd ar-Raḥīm Mūsavī confirms that Iran is ready to cooperate with Pakistan in order to uproot terrorism.

Mūsavī in a phone conversation with the Commander of the Pakistani Army Field Marshall ‘Āṣim Munīr added: “We except operational steps taken against the terrorists in light of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries”.

He pointed out that the terrorist groups’ movements have increased on both sides of the border, underlining the need to increase the joint efforts and fill in the former gaps.

He said: “We must make the border between Pakistan and Iran a friendly and brotherly border of economic progress. Surely we will achieve this by joint cooperation”.

أكد رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية اللواء عبد الرحيم موسوي أن. إيران مستعدة للتعاون مع باكستان من أجل استئصال الإرهاب.

وأضاف موسوي في اتصال هاتفي مع قائد الجيش الباكستاني المشير عاصم منير: “نتوقع. أن تُتخذ إجراءات عملية ضد الإرهابيين في ظل التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين”.

وأشار إلى أن تحركات المجموعات الإرهابية ازدادت على جانبي الحدود، مشدداً على. ضرورة مضاعفة الجهود المشتركة وتعويض الثغرات السابقة.
