Iran: The Interior Ministry announces the readiness to receive the requests of candidates for the presidential elections.

Iranian Interior Minister Aḥmad Vaḥīdī announces the beginning of receiving requests of candidates for the new presidential elections from Thursday on, as the registration period for the candidates will be 5 days from 30 May until 3 June.

On Sunday Iranian Interior Minister Aḥmad Vaḥīdī announced the beginning of receiving requests from the candidates of the new presidential elections from Thursday to elect the president of the country following the martyr president Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī.

Vaḥīdī in his statements to the official television said that the “registration of the candidates for the 14th presidential period in Iran will begin on Thursday, as provincial governors reported forming the electoral committees”.

The Iranian Interior Minister added that the next president will have to “continue the path of Martyr Ra’īsī”.

The official “IRNA” agency cited the electoral headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Interior decreeing in cooperation with the Constitutional Guardian Council the timetable of the elections. The registration period for the candidates will be 5 days from 30 May to 3 June.

After that the Constitutional Guardian Council will review the candidates’ qualifications in the period between 4 June to 10 June and the next day will publish the names of the candidates for the 14th governmental elections.

According to the electoral headquarters the final date to announce the candidates will be between 12 June and 26 June, with that the voting for the 9th president of Iran will be on 28 June.

After that, if no candidate wins the majority of the votes on 28 June a rerun turn will be held on 5 July.

In addition to that the electoral headquarters announced its preparedness to hold electronic voting in several regions, including the city of Tehran and certain other major cities, but this matter requires the approval of the Constitutional Guardian Council that hasn’t taken a final decision yet.

The 14th government will start its works in July 2024 lasting until 2028.

It should be pointed out that while the term of Ra’īsī was scheduled to end in August 2025, the person who wins the next presidential elections will serve a full four years long term.

Thus the change of the elections’ timetable means that from now on the legislative and the presidential elections will be held in the same year.

These arrangements came after the martyrdom of the Iranian President, his Foreign Minister Ḥosseyn Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān and their companion last week in a helicopter crash incident that was taking them to Eastern Azerbaijan upon their return from opening a border dam between Iran and Azerbaijan. There Ra’īsī with his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev opened the joint “Qays Qala‘at Sī” dam on the Aras river.

The helicopter that had crashed was one of originally 3 helicopters that accompanied the Iranian President and was forced to land due to the bad weather conditions that made the search operations difficult in the area filled with forests and bad weather, as the temperature fell below minus 15 degrees centigrade.

Following the accident Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Republic as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī reassured the Iranian people that there will be no shortcomings in the management of the state affairs.

Based on the rule of law in Iran as-Sayyid Hāmeneī announced that Deputy President Moḥammad Mohber will temporarily take on the duties of the of the president, based on Article 13 of the law thus he is appointed along with the presidents of the judicial and the legislative powers to prepare holding elections within 50 days.

Also ‘Alī Bāqerī Konī, that Deputy Foreign Minister is appointed acting Foreign Minister.

إيران: وزارة الداخلية تعلن جاهزيتها لتلقي طلبات الترشح للانتخابات الرئاسية

وزير الداخلية الإيراني، أحمد وحيدي، يعلن بدء تلقي طلبات الترشح للانتخابات. الرئاسية الجديدة يوم الخميس المقبل، حيث ستكون فترة تسجيل المرشحين 5 أيام، من 30 أيار/مايو الجاري إلى 3 حزيران/يونيو المقبل

أعلن وزير الداخلية الإيراني، أحمد وحيدي، اليوم الأحد، بدء تلقي طلبات الترشح للانتخابات. الرئاسية الجديدة يوم الخميس المقبل، لاختيار رئيسٍ للبلاد، يخلف الرئيس الشهيد، إبراهيم رئيسي.

وقال وحيدي، في تصريحات للتلفزيون الرسمي، إنّ “تسجيل المرشحين للفترة الرئاسية الرابعة. عشرة في إيران سوف يبدأ يوم الخميس المقبل، حيث أُبلغ محافظو المحافظات لتشكيل لجان الانتخابات”.

وأضاف وزير الداخلية الإيراني أنّ على الرئيس القادم أن “يكمل مسيرة الشهيد رئيسي”.

وكانت وكالة “إيرنا” الرسمية، قد نقلت عن مقر الانتخابات التابع لوزارة الداخلية الإيرانية، إقراره، بالتنسيق. مع مجلس صيانة الدستور، الجدول الزمني للانتخابات، حيث ستكون فترة تسجيل. المرشحين 5 أيام، من 30 أيار/مايو الجاري إلى 3 حزيران/يونيو المقبل.

ومن ثم يقوم مجلس صيانة الدستور بمراجعة مؤهلات المسجلين في الفترة من 4 إلى 10 حزيران/يونيو، وتنشر. في اليوم التالي أسماء المرشحين للانتخابات الحكومية الرابعة عشرة.

وبحسب مقر الانتخابات، فإنّ الموعد النهائي لإعلان المرشحين هو من 12 إلى 26 حزيران/يونيو، على أن يتم. التصويت لانتخاب الرئيس التاسع لإيران في 28 حزيران/يونيو المقبل.

بعد ذلك،  إذا لم يفز أي مرشح بأغلبية الأصوات في 28 حزيران/يونيو، فسيتم إجراء جولة إعادة في 5 تموز/يوليو.

إلى ذلك، أعلن مقر الانتخابات استعداده لإجراء التصويت الإلكتروني في عدة مناطق، بما في ذلك مدينة طهران. وبعض المدن الكبرى الأخرى، لكن هذا الأمر يخضع لموافقة مجلس صيانة الدستور الذي لم يتخذ قراراً نهائياً بعد.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّه بينما كان من المقرر انتهاء ولاية رئيسي في آب/أغسطس 2025، فإنّ الشخص الذي يفوز. في الانتخابات الرئاسية المقبلة، سيخدم لفترة ولاية كاملة مدتها أربع سنوات.

وإنّ التحول في روزنامة الانتخابات، يعني أنه من الآن فصاعداً، سيتم إجراء الانتخابات النيابية والرئاسية في نفس العام.

وتأتي هذه الإجراءات بعد استُشهاد الرئيس الإيراني ووزير خارجيته حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، ومرافقون. لهما، الأسبوع الماضي، في حادثة تحطّم مروحية كانت تقلّهم إلى أذربيجان الشرقية، شمالي غربي. إيران، لدى عودتهم من مراسم افتتاح سد مائي عند الحدود بين إیران وأذربیجان، حيث افتتح رئيسي مع. نظيره، إلهام علييف، سد “قيز قلعة سي” المشترك على نهر آراس.

والمروحية التي سقطت هي واحدة من أصل 3 مروحيات كانت ترافق الرئيس الإيراني، واضطُرت. إلى الهبوط بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية، التي صعّبت عمليات البحث في المنطقة ذات التضاريس. الوعرة والطقس البارد، إذ لامست درجة الحرارة 15 درجةً تحت الصفر.

وفي أعقاب الحادثة، طمأن قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران، السيد علي. خامنئي، الشعب الإيراني إلى أنّه لن يكون هناك أي خلل في إدارة شؤون البلاد.

وتكريساً لدولة القانون في إيران، أعلن السيد خامنئي أنّ نائب الرئيس، محمد مخبر، سيتولى مهمّات. الرئاسة موقتاً، وفقاً للمادة الـ131 من القانون، بحيث يتعيّن عليه وعلى رئيسَي السلطة القضائية والتشريعية التحضير لإقامة انتخابات خلال 50 يوماً.
