The security services in the city of Ardabīl in Northwestern Iran detain a spy, who was in contact with high ranking officers of the Israeli “Mossad”.

The General Prosecutor in the city of Ardabīl on Wednesday announced that an agent of the Israeli Intelligence was arrested, who was thwarted by the security services in the city of Ardabīl in Northwestern Iran.
General Prosecutor Ğalīl Afāqī in the center of Arbabīl explained that the spy was in contact with high ranking officers of the Israeli “Mossad” spy service via a social media platform and was active under the pretext of “liberation” in collecting informations and transferring them to the Mossad.
Afāqī said that the spy was monitored by the Security Ministry and was moving around in several provinces with the aim to hide and permanently leave the country, but the security services managed to arrest him immediately upon his arrival to Ardabīl.
Upon the arrest of this spy, who is a native to one of the southern provinces of Iran, his social media account and all information linked to him were deleted by the Israeli Intelligence.
Afāqī explained that the news of the arrest of this suspect, who was detained in Ardabīl was immediately circulated by a number of foreign media services.
It should be pointed out that the Iranian Security Service launched security campaigns against the internal spies, especially those linked to the Israeli, British and American intelligence services, but also against the agents and spies of the European countries.

ألقت النيابة العامة في مدينة أردبيل، الأربعاء، القبض على عميل للاستخبارات الإسرائيلية، كان مطارداً. من قبل الأجهزة الأمنية في مدينة أردبيل شمال غرب إيران.
وأوضح المدّعي العام في مركز مدينة أردبيل، جلال أفاقي، أنّ الجاسوس كان على اتصال مع ضباط. رفيعي المستوى في جهاز التجسس “الموساد” عبر إحدى مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وكان ينشط بذريعة. “التحرير” في تجميع المعلومات ونقلها إلى الموساد
وقال أفاقي إنّ الجاسوس كان ملاحقاً من قبل وزارة الأمن ويتنقّل في عدة محافظات بقصد. الاختباء ومغادرة البلاد نهائياً، لكن الأجهزة الأمنية تمكّنت من اعتقاله فور وصوله إلى أردبيل.
ومع إلقاء القبض على هذا الجاسوس، وهو من أهالي إحدى المحافظات الجنوبية في إيران، تمّت. إزالة حسابه الإلكتروني والبيانات المتعلّقة به من قبل جهاز المخابرات الإسرائيلي.
وأوضح آفاقي، أنّه تم تداول خبر القبض على هذا المشتبه به، الذي تم اعتقاله في أردبيل، على الفور. من قبل العديد من وسائل الإعلام الأجنبية
