One of the most prominent sheik and representative of Ma’rib province confirmed that the clashes are being fought at the last lines of defense for the armed men of the Saudi-led coalition of aggression at the city of Ma’rib.

Member of the Yemeni Upper House aš-Šayh Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī Ṭa‘ymānī confirmed that the army and the Popular Committees, and with the free people of Ma’rib are conducting fierce clashes at the western and northern gates of the city of Ma’rib, which represent the last lines of defense of the enemy in the battle to liberate what is left from the occupied territories.
Aš-Šayh Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī Ṭa‘ymānī explained in a post on Twitter that the airstrikes of the coalition in last few hours focused and failed to block the advance of the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees after the general collapse of the coalition’s mercenaries to the north and east of the city.
Thus pointed out that the airplanes of the coalition launched more than 45 airstrikes against Ma’rib province during the last few hours, most of them at Madġal and Ṣirwāḥ.

أكد أحد أبرز مشايخ ووجهاء محافظة مأرب، أن المواجهات تدور في آخر خطوط دفاع مسلحي تحالف العدوان بقيادة السعودية عن مدينة مأرب
وأوضح عضو مجلس الشورى، الشيخ محمد بن علي طعيمان، أن الجيش واللجان الشعبية ومعهم أبناء مأرب الأحرار، يخوضون مواجهات شرسة عند أسوار مدينة مأرب الغربية والشمالية، التي تمثل آخر خطوط دفاع العدو أمام معركة تحرير ما تبقى من المناطق المحتلة
وأوضح الشيخ طعيمان في تغريدة له على “تويتر”، أن غارات طيران التحالف ركزت خلال الساعات الماضية فشلت في محاولة تقدم الجيش اليمن واللجان الشعبية، بعد انهيار واسع لنيران مرتزقة التحالف في شمال وغرب المدينة
