The Iranian Fars News Agency reported on Wednesday night that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards for the first time used the “Ḥadīd 110” suicide drone during the latest attack that had targeted Occupying Entity and the American interests in the region.
The agency mentioned that using the drone was part of the fourteenth wave of the operations, pointing out that the “Ḥadīd 110” drone counts to be the fastest suicide drone Iran has developed so far.
What are the capabilities of the “Ḥadīd 110”?
According to the reports the drone possess radar evading capabilities by its curbed design and sharp edges that lowers the radar imprint, in addition to relying on small jet engine that grants it a high speed.
The “Ḥadīd 110” can take a speed reaching up to 517 km/h with a range close to 350 kilometers. It was also designed to penetrate the air defense systems targeting the sensitive positions.
It is believed that combining its high speed and its low radar imprint capabilities makes it possible to reveal only by short distances from the target. This increases the difficulty to intercept it by the air defense systems.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards had revealed this drone in February last year before testing it during the “Sohand” military drills, in which many states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization participated, including Russia, China, India and Pakistan.

About the “Ḥadīd 110” drone retired Brigadier General, military and strategic expert Charles Abī Nādir to al-Mayadeen that its capabilities are higher that the Iranian “Šāhed 110” drones.
Charles Abī Nādir pointed out that the Iranian dedication and steadfastness will not be limited to the drones, but might also rely on the ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
Abī Nādir pointed out that the messages of all these capabilities that Iran is holding out despite the aggression against it and these weapons form the backbone of Iran.

أفادت وكالة أنباء وكالة “فارس” الإيرانية، مساء أمس الأربعاء، بأن حرس الثورة الإيراني استخدم للمرة الأولى الطائرة المسيّرة الانتحارية “حديد 110” خلال الهجمات الأخيرة التي استهدفت كيان الاحتلال ومصالح أميركية في المنطقة.
وذكرت الوكالة أن استخدام المسيّرة جاء ضمن الموجة الرابعة عشرة من العمليات، مشيرة إلى أن “حديد 110” تُعد أسرع طائرة مسيّرة انتحارية طوّرتها إيران حتى الآن.
ما هي قدرات “حديد 110″؟
وبحسب التقارير، تتمتع المسيّرة بقدرات تخفٍّ راداري بفضل تصميمها المائل وزواياها الحادة التي تقلل من بصمتها الرادارية، إضافة إلى اعتمادها على محرك نفاث صغير يمنحها سرعة عالية
وتستطيع “حديد 110” بلوغ سرعة تصل إلى نحو 517 كيلومتراً في الساعة، مع مدى تحليق يقارب 350 كيلومتراً، كما صُممت لاختراق أنظمة الدفاع الجوي واستهداف مواقع حساسة.
ويُعتقد أن الجمع بين سرعتها المرتفعة وتقنيات تقليل الرصد يجعل اكتشافها ممكناً فقط على مسافات قصيرة من الهدف، ما يزيد من صعوبة اعتراضها من قبل أنظمة الدفاع الجوي.
وكان حرس الثورة الإيراني قد كشف عن هذه المسيّرة في فبراير/شباط من العام الماضي، قبل إخضاعها لاختبارات خلال مناورات “سهند” التي شاركت فيها عدة دول من منظمة “شنغهاي” للتعاون، من بينها روسيا والصين والهند وباكستان.

وعن المسيرة “حديد 110″، قال العميد المتقاعد والمحلل العسكري والاستراتيجي شارل أبي نادر، للميادين، إن قدراتها أعلى من قدرات المسيرة الإيرانية “شاهد 110
وأشار أبي نادر إلى أن التصاعد والثبات الإيراني لن ينحصرا فقط بالمسيرات، إنما قد ينطبقان أيضاً على الصواريخ البالستية وفرط الصوتية.
ولفت أبي نادر إلى أن الرسائل من كل هذه القدرات أن إيران ثابتة رغم العدوان عليها، وهذه الأسلحة تشكل نواة عصب إيران
