Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān congratulated Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān for winning the elections and the two sides confirm the importance of continuously enhancing the cooperation between the two states in various fields.

Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān on Wednesday, congratulating him for winning the recent presidential elections Iran has just witnessed.
During the conversation the two sides praised what the bilateral relations between the two states have achieved by progress on a number of levels. They both confirmed the importance of the continued enhancement of the cooperation on various fields.
According to what the “WAS” Saudi Press Agency reported Pezeškiyān on his behalf expressed his thanks to Ibn Salmān.
Since Pezeškiyān won the 14th presidential elections in Iran has received a number of calls and congratulating messages from the leaders and presidents of a number of countries and from political figures around the world.
In this context Saudi King Salmān ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azīz Āl Sa‘ūd also sent a congratulatory letter to Pezeškiyān immediately after he was announced the winner of the recent presidential elections in Iran.

أجرى ولي العهد السعودي، محمد بن سلمان، اتصالاً هاتفياً، اليوم الأربعاء، مع الرئيس الإيراني. المنتخب مسعود بزشكيان، مهنئاً إياه بفوزه في انتخابات الرئاسة الأخيرة التي شهدتها إيران.
وأشاد الطرفان، خلال الاتصال، بما وصلت إليه العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين من تطوّر على عدد. من الأصعدة، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة تعزيز التعاون في مختلف المجالات.
وأعرب بزشكيان، من جهته، عن شكره لابن سلمان، وفقاً لما نقلته وكالة الأنباء السعودية “واس”.
وكان بزشكيان، منذ فوزه في الانتخابات الرئاسية في إيران للدورة الـ 14، قد تلقّى العديد من الاتصالات. ورسائل التهنئة من زعماء ورؤساء العديد من الدول والشخصيات السياسية حول العالم.
