The British media reports that a drone targeted a military base in Kuwait hosting American and Italian troops. What are the damages?

The British media reported that a military base in Kuwait hosting America and Italian soldiers was the target of a drone attack.

The Sky Mews channel mentioned that the Italian Ministry of Defense had reported the drone hit a storage facility for the Italian drones within the base, which led to their destruction.

The sources reported that the Italian drones present at the base represented “an invaluable base for carrying out operational activities”.

However, the Financial Times pointed out that what had been destroyed at the base was an Italian warplane and not a drone, according to the available information.

No additional details have been clarified about the level of the total damages suffered by the base.

On Sunday the Naval Forces of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards announced that in the early hours of Sunday dawn it had carried out a number of concurrent attack waves targeting 4 airbases of the American forces with heavy and precision strikes, including the “ ‘Alī as-Sālim” airbase of the American Forces in Kuwait.

Earlier the Revolutionary Guards issued a direct warning to the American soldiers: “Soldiers of the United States! Leave the region immediately, or otherwise we will bury you under the rubble anywhere you are, either in the hotels, the industrial areas, or the underground shelters”.

The Iranian officials have repeatedly confirmed that the Iranian attacks in the region only and exclusively target those l,aces and bases from where the aggression is carried out and that it respects the sovereignty of all states. They also follow the leadership of the Leadership Council holding on to their right to confront the aggression without any hesitation.

وسائل إعلام بريطانية تفيد بأنّ طائرة مسيّرة استهدفت قاعدة عسكرية في الكويت تضمّ جنوداً أميركيين وإيطاليين. ماذا في الأضرار؟

أفادت وسائل إعلام بريطانية بأنّ قاعدة عسكرية في الكويت تستضيف جنوداً أميركيين وإيطاليين كانت هدفاً لهجوم بطائرة مسيّرة.

وذكرت شبكة “سكاي نيوز” أنّ وزارة الدفاع الإيطالية أعلنت أنّ الطائرة المسيّرة أصابت مأوى لتخزين الطائرات المسيّرة الإيطالية داخل القاعدة، ما أدى إلى تدميرها.

ونقلت عن مصادر أنّ الطائرات الإيطالية الموجودة في القاعدة كانت تمثّل “أصلاً لا غنى عنه لتنفيذ الأنشطة العملياتية

إلا أنّ صحيفة “فايننشل تايمز” أشارت إلى أنّ ما تمّ تدميره في القاعدة هي طائرة مقاتلة إيطالية وليس طائرة مسيّرة، وفقاً للمعلومات المتوافرة.

ولم تتضح حتى الآن تفاصيل إضافية بشأن حجم الأضرار الكاملة التي لحقت بالقاعدة.

وأمس، أعلنت القوة البحرية التابعة لحرس الثورة الإسلامية في إيران، أنها نفّذت في ساعات الفجر الأولى من الأحد، عدة موجات هجومية متزامنة استهدفت 4 قواعد جوية تابعة للقوات الأميركية، بضربات دقيقة ومكثّفة، من بينها قاعدة “علي السالم” الجوية التابعة للقوات الأميركية في الكويت.

وسبق أن وجّه حرس الثورة تحذيراً مباشراً للجنود الأميركيين: “يا جنود الولايات المتحدة، غادروا المنطقة فوراً وإلا سندفنكم تحت الأنقاض في أيّ مكان توجدون فيه سواء في الفنادق أم الأنفاق أم المناطق الصناعية أو الملاجئ تحت الأرض”.

ويؤكّد المسؤولون الإيرانيون بشكل متكرّر أنّ الهجمات الإيرانية في المنطقة تستهدف فقط وحصراً الأماكن والقواعد التي ينطلق منها العدوان، وأنها تحترم سيادة جميع الدول، وتلتزم بقرار قيادة مجلس القيادة، متمسّكة بحقّها في التصدّي للعدوان من دون تراجع
