Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Republic of Iran as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī confirms the clear red lines for both parties of the negotiations, calling for not risking the matters of the country in the present negotiations.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Republic of Iran as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī has called for not being overly optimistic about the negotiations with the United States, not to be overly pessimistic. 

As-Sayyid Hāmeneī during his meeting Tuesday with members of the Iranian Conciliatory Council [the Parliament – Amaraia], the government and the number of officials of the Judiciary and the governmental institutions confirmed that these negotiations are a step and a decision to be taken and its first steps were taken well, and later on the negotiations have to be followed closely. 

He underlined that the red lines are clear for both parties and the negotiations must continue, which can lead to a result, but may not. 

He added: “We are not too optimistic, nor very pessimistic. For sure, we are very pessimistic about the plans of the other side, as we know him well, but we are optimistic about our own capabilities”.

He pointed out that “the Oman negotiations are one of the dozens of duties the foreign ministry is fulfilling”, calling for not to risk the matters of the country with these negotiations and not to repeat the mistake that had been committed with the nuclear deal betting the country on the results of the negotiations and their progress. 

He continued warming: “When the investor sees that the country is risked on the negotiations, he will not continue the investment and will wait for the result of the negotiations. Thus the activities of the state must be the independent industry, the trade, the culture and the social affairs not being exposed to the negotiations in Oman”.

It should be remembered that the first round of the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States about the nuclear matter and lifting the sanctions against Tehran was held last Saturday at the Omani capital.

Following that the Iranian Foreign Minister announced that “the negotiations were held in a positive atmosphere based on the principle of mutual respect”, confirming that “Tehran and Washington have agreed to continue the negotiations next week”.

قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران السيد علي خامنئي يؤكد. أن الخطوط الحمر واضحة للطرفين في المحادثات، داعياً إلى عدم رهن قضايا البلاد بالمحادثات القائمة.

دعا قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران السيد علي خامنئي. إلى عدم التفاؤل بشكل مفرط في المحادثات مع الولايات المتحدة الأميركية ولا التشاؤم بشكل مفرط.

وأكد السيد خامنئي خلال لقائه اليوم أعضاء مجلس الشورى الإيراني. وأعضاء الحكومة وعدداً من المسؤولين في السلطة القضائية ومؤسسات حكومية، أن هذه المحادثات هي خطوة. وقرار اتُخذ وتم تنفيذ خطواته الأولى بشكل جيد، ولاحقاً يجب متابعة المحادثات بدقة.

وشدد على أن الخطوط الحمر واضحة للطرفين، وينبغي مواصلة المحادثات. التي من الممكن أن تصل إلى نتيجة ومن الممكن أن لا تصل.

وأضاف: “لسنا متفائلين جداً ولا متشائمين جداً. بالتأكيد نحن متشائمون جداً حيال الطرف الآخر، فنحن نعرفه جيداً، لكننا متفائلون حيال قدراتنا الذاتية”.

ولفت إلى أن “محادثات عُمان واحدة من عشرات المهام التي تقوم. بها وزارة الخارجية”، داعياً إلى على عدم رهن قضايا البلاد بهذه المحادثات، وعدم تكرار الخطأ. الذي ارتكب في الاتفاق النووي، وهو رهن البلاد بنتائج المحادثات وتقدمها.

وتابع محذراً: “عندما يرى المستثمر أن البلاد مرهونة بالمحادثات، فلن يقدم. على الاستثمار وسينتظر نتائج المحادثات. لذا، يجب أن تكون الفعاليات في البلاد الصناعية. والتجارية والثقافية والاجتماعية مستقلة وغير مرتهنة للمحادثات في عمان”.

يذكر أن الجولة الأولى من المحادثات غير المباشرة بين إيران والولايات. المتحدة بشأن الملف النووي ورفع العقوبات عن طهران عقدت يوم السبت المنصرم في العاصمة العمانية.

وفي إثرها، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية أن “المحادثات جرت. في أجواء إيجابية على أساس مبدأ الاحترام المتبادل”، مؤكدة أنّ “طهران وواشنطن اتفقتا على مواصلة المحادثات خلال الأسبوع المقبل
