After his victory in the Syrian presidential elections President al-Asad says during his inauguration ceremony for the new term in front of the National Assembly’s members that the people give legitimacy to the state, and that all attempt of the agents collapsed thanks to the resistance of the Syrian people.
Syrian President Baššār al-Asad said in his speech to the Syrian people during his inauguration ceremony for the new term in front of the members of the National Assembly today, on Saturday that “the people, who know the way to freedom shall not tire on the way to secure their rights”.
Al-Asad added: “They wanted to break the country apart. So the people gave the bullet of mercy to their plans with their unity”. Thus confirming that “the people within this homeland grow stronger in confrontation and determination”.
He viewed that the large participation of the people in the presidential election “is proof of the huge national wisdom”. Thus expressing that “the enemies were wagering on fear from the terrorism”. Yet today their wager is on transforming the citizen into mercenaries”.
He confirmed that “the experience of the election proved that the people are the ones, who govern legitimacy to the state”. He continued: “Together we have achieved national justice, because the people are holding and homogeneous”. He confirmed that “transparency is the priority in the next phase. It is the key program in the administrational reform”.
The Syrian President pointed out that “those, who planed for themselves to be a playing card against their homeland have become stash for the foreigner, who give themselves to it”. He pointed out that: “the national popular wisdom is our bastion, and the standards are with which we measure our strength and power”.
Al-Asad turned to the agents, who are working with Turkish mediation on Syrian soil and said: “some of the are working on agendas to reach a constitution, which will render Syria under the mercy of the foreigner”. He explained: “All agendas of the agents and their attempts have failed, thanks to the resistance of the Syrian people”.
Al-Asad: We say to those who were agitated to return to the homeland, as it is the shelter and what embraces [you]
He continued: “The biggest reason amongst the reasons of the crisis, in which we lived was the absence of values and morality”. Thus he pointed out “whoever loses his sense of belonging has nothing good for him the country, and has no security in the society”.
The Syrian President turned to all those, who were agitated and wagered on the collapse of the state so they should return to it. Once again repeating: “We say to those who were agitated that they were exploited against their country by their enemies. That the homeland is the shelter and which embraces them. The people are great in their hearth and forgiveness”.
Al-Asad confirmed that “the next phase shall witness the modernization of the laws, combating corruption, revealing the corrupts and there can be leniency in that”. He viewed that “today that world is a jungle witnessing the fall of states and support for terrorism. Taming the people by psychological war”. He expressed that “the target of the modern wars is the people, more than the land. Whoever wins the people wins the war”.
He added: “The enemy wins, when the majority become convinced that the resistance is a lie. It force is a fantasy. And that flourishing is by laying down. We lose, when we believe that the intention is the same policy and get concern by the disturbance around us”.
Al-Asad: Talking about the Arabism is not a matter of opinion, but a matter of fate
He said: “We will be defeated in our souls and ideology, if we believed that our national inclination is for those borders, which were drawn by the occupiers. We will be defeated if we mixed our Arabic inclination with the Arabized governments. We will be defeated also, when be beloved that the Arabism is an invention claimed by some parties and is not suitable anymore for the modern requirements”.
He also repeated his conviction that “the inclination is broader than to be narrowed down to religion, sect, interest, history or geography”.
The Syrian President viewed that: “Talking about Arabism is not a matter of opinion we agree upon, or disagree, or a matter of taste we like it or not, but a matter of fate.”
Al-Asad dealt with the Palestinian matter as well, and said that “the closest matter to us is the Palestinian matter. Our commitment to its is stabile and the circumstances don’t override them”.
He said: “Our position is to liberate what is left from our lands from the terrorism, as their protectors are the Turks and the Americans”. He added: “[We are] sure in the role of the friends, like Iran and Russia, who were standing with us during much of the liberation”.
Al-Asad also confirmed that “it is the duty of the state to support any resistance in Syria against the occupier”. Thus pointing out that “the grace of for those safeguard the land and wet its solid with his blood, while him, who is was raised loving the homeland is saluted”.
Al-Asad: Currently 3000 factories are on the way in the country
Al-Asad dealt with the economic situation in Syria and revealed that currently the work is ongoing for 3000 factories to produce in Syria.
Thus he also confirmed that “the war and the blockade cannot prevent us from investing”. He pointed out that “the last part of the problem is connected to the availability of administration “. He expressed that the blockade is “the biggest opportunity to develop relying on self sufficient capabilities”.
Al-Asad revealed that “the Syrian assets frozen in Lebanese banks is around $40 billion to $60 billion.
He viewed that easing the sanctions is essential, “but does not compensate for the grow of production. That is the key to improve the living conditions in Syria”. Thus he pointed out that title of the next period is the increase of production and that the role of the state is to ease that in many sectors.
He underlined this saying “the solution of the problem of electricity is out priority for all, so that would reflect our life and the investment environment”.
Al-Asad swore in at a celebration to which local and international political and media personalities were invited, in addition to the representatives of the diplomatic cadres accredited to Damascus.
On 27 May this year al-Asad won the Syrian presidential elections. Speaker of the Syrian National Assembly Ḥammūda Ṣabbāġ announced the victory of al-Asad on the Syrian presidential elections with a ratio of 95.1%.

بعد فوزه بالانتخابات الرئاسية السورية، الرئيس الأسد يقول خلال مراسم تأدية اليمين الدستورية لولاية جديدة أمام أعضاء مجلس الشعب، إن الشعب هو الذي يعطي الشرعية للدولة، وإن كل طروحات العملاء تبخرت بفضل صمود الشعب السوري.
قال الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد في كلمته إلى الشعب السوري، خلال مراسم أدائه اليمين الدستورية لولاية جديدة أمام أعضاء مجلس الشعب، اليوم السبت، إنّ “الشعوب التي تعرف طريق الحرية لا تتعب في سبيل الدفاع عن حقوقها”.
وأضاف الأسد: “أرادوا تقسيم البلاد، فأطلق الشعب رصاصة الرحمة على مشاريعهم بوحدته”، مؤكداً أن “السوريين داخل وطنهم يزدادون تحدياً وصلابة”
ورأى أن المشاركة الشعبية الواسعة في الانتخابات الرئاسية “دليل على الوعي الوطني الكبير”، معتبراً أن “رهان الأعداء كان على الخوف من الارهاب. أما اليوم، فالرهان على تحويل المواطن إلى مرتزق”.
وأكد أن “تجربة الانتخابات أثبتت أن الشعب هو الذي يعطي الشرعية للدولة”، وتابع: “لقد حققنا معاً المعادلة الوطنية، لأننا شعب متماسك ومتجانس”، مؤكداً أن “الشفافية أولوية المرحلة المقبلة، وهي جوهر برنامج الإصلاح الإداري”.
وأشار الرئيس السوري إلى أن “الذين خطط لهم أن يكونوا ورقة ضد وطنهم تحولوا إلى رصيد للخارج يقدمون أنفسهم له”، لافتاً إلى أن “الوعي الشعبي الوطني هو حصننا والمعيار الذي نقيس به مدى قدرتنا وقوتنا”.
وتطرق الأسد إلى العملاء الذين يعملون بوساطة تركية في الأراضي السورية، وقال إن “بعضهم يعمل على طروحات للوصول إلى دستور يضع سوريا تحت رحمة الأجنبي”، معتبراً أن “كل طروحات العملاء ومحاولاتهم تبخرت بفضل صمود الشعب السوري”.
الأسد: نقول لمن غرر به أن يعود لأن الوطن هو الملجأ والحاضن
وتابع: “أكبر سبب من أسباب الأزمة التي عشناها كان غياب القيم والأخلاق”، مشيراً إلى أن “من يفقد الانتماء لا خير فيه لبلده، ولا أمان له تجاه مجتمعه”.
وتوجّه الرئيس السوري إلى كل من غُرر به وراهن على سقوط الوطن بأن يعود إليه، مكرراً: “نقول لمن غُرر به أنه تمّ استغلاله ضد بلده من قبل أعدائه، وأن الوطن هو الملجأ والحاضن، والشعب كبير بقلبه ومسامح”.
الأسد أكد أن “المرحلة المقبلة ستشهد تحديثاً للقوانين، ومكافحة للفساد، وكشفاً للفاسدين، ولا تساهل في ذلك”، ورأى أن “العالم اليوم غابة تشهد إسقاط دول، ودعماً للإرهاب، وترويضاً للشعوب عبر الحرب النفسية”، معتبراً أن “هدف الحروب الحديثة هو الإنسان قبل الأرض، فمن يربح الإنسان يربح الحرب”.
وأضاف: “العدو ينتصر عندما تقتنع الغالبية أن المقاومة كذبة، وردعها خيال، وأن الازدهار في الانبطاح… نخسر عندما نصدق أن النأي بالنفس سياسة، وأنه يقينا من الاضطراب في محيطنا”.
الأسد: الحديث عن العروبة ليس قضية رأي بل قضية مصير
وقال: “سنُهزم نفسياً وفكرياً إذا اعتقدنا أن انتماءنا القومي هو لحدود رسمها المحتل، وسنُهزم إذا خلطنا بين الانتماء العربي وبين حكومات مستعربة. سنُهزم أيضاً عندما نعتقد أن العروبة اختراع تبنته بعض الأحزاب، ولم تعد مناسبة لمتطلبات العصر”.
كما كرّر تأكيده أن “الانتماء أوسع من أن يحصر بدين أو مذهب أو مصلحة أو تاريخ أو جغرافيا”.
الرئيس السوري رأى أن “الحديث عن العروبة ليس قضية رأي نتفق أو نختلف معه أو ذوق يعجبنا أو لا، بل هو قضية مصير”.
وتناول الأسد القضية الفلسطينية، وقال إن “أقرب القضايا إلينا هي قضية فلسطين، والتزامنا بها ثابت لا تبدّله الظروف”.
وقال: “وضعنا نصب أعيننا تحرير ما تبقى من أرضنا من الإرهاببين ورعاتهم الأتراك والأميركيين”، مضيفاً: “واثقون بدور الأصدقاء، كإيران وروسيا، اللتين كان لوقوفهما معنا أثر كبير في التحرير”.
كما أكد الأسد “واجب الدولة في دعم أي مقاومة في سوريا ضد المحتل”، لافتاً إلى أن “الفضل يبقى لمن حفظ الأرض وسقاها بدمه، والعرفان لمن ربّاه على حب الوطن”.
الأسد: يتم حالياً بناء 3000 مصنع في البلاد
الأسد تناول الوضع الاقتصادي في سوريا، وكشف أن العمل جارٍ حالياً لبناء نحو 3000 مصنع للإنتاج في سوريا.
وفيما أكد أن “الحرب والحصار لم يتمكنا من وقف الاستثمار”، أشار إلى أن “الجزء الآخر من المشكلة مرتبط بتوفر الإرادة”، معتبراً أن الحصار هو “الفرصة الأكبر للتطوير بالاعتماد على القدرات الذاتية”.
وكشف الأسد أن “الأموال السورية المجمّدة في المصارف اللبنانية تقدر بين 40 مليار دولار و60 ملياراً”.
ورأى أنَّ تخفيف العقبات ضروري، “لكنه لا يعوّض عن زيادة الإنتاج، وهي أساس تحسن الوضع المعيشي في سوريا”، لافتاً إلى أنّ عنوان المرحلة المقبلة هو زيادة الإنتاج، وأن دور الدولة هو تسهيل ذلك في مختلف القطاعات.
وشدّد قائلاً إنَّ “حلّ مشكلة الكهرباء أولويتنا جميعاً، لانعكاس ذلك على الحياة وبيئة الاستثمارات”.
وأدّى الأسد اليمين الدستورية في حفل دعيت إليه شخصيات سياسية وإعلامية محلية ودولية، إضافة إلى ممثلي البعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدين في دمشق.
