Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General ‘Abd ar-Raḥīm Mūsavī and Iraqi National Security Advisor Qāsim al-A‘rağī confirm the commitment to implement the stipulations of the joint security agreement between the two countries.

Commander of the Iranian Armed Forces General Staff Organization Major General ‘Abd ar-Raḥīm Mūsavī confirmed the full implementation of the security agreement between Iran and Iraq.
During his meeting with Iraqi National Security Advisor Qāsim al-A‘rağī while he is visiting Tehran Mūsavī pointed out that the Israeli-American aggression against Iran ridiculed the intentions of the United States of American for hegemony over the Iraqi airspace for everyone.
On his behalf al-A‘rağī also confirmed that Iraq is committed to the implementation of the stipulations of the security agreement with Iran.
He underlined that mutual reliance between the Iranian people and the leadership in light of the Israeli-American aggression against Iran showed the greatness and power of the Iranian people.
Confirming this he said: “We do not allow to any state to use the Iraqi lands to stage any operation threatening the security of the neighboring states, especially not Iran”.
On Wednesday al-A‘rağī met with Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān and during the meeting he confirmed that the security of Iraq and Iran are inseparable from each other.
He underlined that the borders between Iran and Iraq must be the most secure borders in the region and there must not be any threat to Iran from these border areas.
It should be remembered that Iran and Iraq had signed a joint security memorandum of understanding regarding the border security coordination between the two countries. That took place in August, during the meeting taken by Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council ‘Alī Lārīğānī to Iraq.

أكد رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية اللواء عبد الرحيم موسوي. التنفيذ الكامل للاتفاق الأمني بين إيران والعراق.
وأشار موسوي خلال لقائه مستشار الأمن القومي العراقي قاسم الأعرجي. خلال زيارته إلى طهران، إلى أن العدوان الإسرائيلي الأميركي على إيران فضح نيات الولايات المتحدة الأميركية. في الهيمنة على الأجواء العراقية أمام الجميع.
بدوره، أكد الأعرجي أيضاً أن العراق ملتزم. بتنفيذ بنود الاتفاقية الأمنية مع إيران.
وشدد على أن التلاحم بين الشعب والقيادة الإيرانية في ظل العدوان. الإسرائيلي الأميركي على إيران أظهر عظمة الشعب الإيراني وقوته.
وقال مؤكداً: “لا يسمح لأي دولة باستخدام الأراضي العراقية. للقيام بأي عمل يهدد أمن الدول المجاورة، وخصوصاً إيران”.
ويوم أمس، التقى الأعرجي الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، وأكد. خلال اللقاء أن أمن العراق وإيران لا ينفصل أحدهما عن الآخر.
وشدّد على أنّ الحدود بين إيران والعراق يجب أن تكون من أكثر الحدود.أمناً في المنطقة، وعلى أنّه لن يكون هناك أي تهديد لإيران من هذه المنطقة الحدودية.
