The Syrian government and the representatives of Ğaramānā reach an agreement to immediately hand over the heavy weapons and to increase the deployment of the security forces. The Druze spiritual elders confirm their rejection to the participation and that they hold on to the unity of Syria.

Security Director of rural Damascus Ḥusām aṭ-Ṭaḥḥān announced on Thursday that the Syrian government and the representatives of the city of Ğaramānā reached an agreement guaranteeing the immediate handover of the heavy weapons and handing over the personal weaponry after a limited time period and thus the weapons would be solely in the hands of the official state institutions.
Aṭ-Ṭaḥḥān explained in a statement to the Syrian SANA that the agreement also includes the increased deployment of the General Security Administration forces in the city of Ğaramānā to solidify the stability and thus life would return to normal, in addition to deployment of the forces of the Ministry of Defense around the city to secure it.
On its behalf the Progressive Socialist Party confirmed reaching an agreement between the Syrian administration and the residents of Ğaramānā for peaceful arrangements to solve the pending problems.
The spiritual leaders of as-Suwaydā’: We are inseparable part of the unified Syrian nation
In the same context the spiritual elders of the Druze faith in as-Suwaydā’ underlined that they “are inseparable part of the unified Syrian nation”, rejecting the partition, division, or separatism in any form.
The elders in a statement confirmed that they are dedicated to the nation containing all Syrians and without sectarian division or instigation, adding: “the blood of the martyrs compel us to be as one hand in Syria holding on to national pledge”.
They also underlined the need for the active role of the Ministry of Interior and the judiciary in the city of as-Suwaydā’ to be by the residents of the city and to secure the as-Suwaydā’–Damascus highway and to provide safety and security on all Syrian lands.
Earlier local sources confirmed to al-Mayadeen “documenting a large number of those who lost their lives in result of the clashes” in as-Suwaydā’, Ṣaḥnāyā and Ašrafiyya, as also cases of humiliation and summarily executions were documented”.
It should be remembered that the spiritual elder of the Druze faith in Syria Ḥikmat al-Hiğrī in a statement issued on Thursday morning confirmed “we no longer trust the institution that calls itself government, because the government does not kill its people by religious fanatic gangs that does not belong to it [the nation – Amaraia]”.
Aš-Šayh al-Hiğrī requested the international community to “don’t continue ignoring and covering up all what is happening to us and to our people during these massacres”. Thus describing the situation as “the same experience” as that seen in the coastline.

أعلن مدير أمن ريف دمشق، حسام الطحان، الخميس، عن توصّل الحكومة السورية ووجهاء. مدينة جرمانا إلى اتفاق يتضمّن تسليم السلاح الثقيل فوراً، وتسليم السلاح الفردي بعد فترة. زمنية محدّدة، مع حصر السلاح بيد مؤسسات الدولة الرسمية.
وأوضح الطحان، في تصريح لوكالة “سانا” السورية، أنّ الاتفاق يشمل أيضاً زيادة. انتشار قوات إدارة الأمن العامّ في مدينة جرمانا لترسيخ الاستقرار وعودة الحياة إلى طبيعتها، بالإضافة إلى انتشار قوات من. وزارة الدفاع السورية على أطراف المدينة لتأمينها.
من جهته، أكد الحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي التوصّل إلى اتفاق بين الإدارة السورية. وأبناء جرمانا على ترتيبات سلمية تعالج الإشكالات الحاصلة.
مشيخة العقل في السويداء: نحن. جزء لا يتجزأ من الوطن السوري الموحّد
وفي سياق متصل، شدّدت مشيخة عقل طائفة الموحّدين الدروز في السويداء على أنهم. “جزء لا يتجزأ من الوطن السوري الموحّد”، رافضةً أي شكل من أشكال التقسيم أو الانسلاخ أو الانفصال.
وأكدت المشيخة، في بيان لها، حرصها على وطن يضم جميع السوريين وخالٍ من الفتن. والنعرات الطائفية، مضيفةً: “تأبى لنا دماء الشهداء إلا أن نكون يداً واحدة في سوريا متمسكين بالعروة الوثقى”.
كما شدّدت على ضرورة تفعيل دور وزارة الداخلية والضابطة العدلية في مدينة السويداء. من أبناء المدينة، وأنّ تأمين طريق السويداء-دمشق مسؤولية الدولة وبسط الأمن والأمان على الأراضي السورية.
وسبق ذلك، تأكيد مصادر محلية للميادين “توثيق أرقام كبيرة ممن ارتقوا نتيجة. الاشتباكات”، في السويداء وصحنايا والأشرفية، كما تمّ توثيق الإهانات والإعدامات الميدانية.
يُذكر أنّ شيخ عقل طائفة الموحّدين الدروز في سوريا، حكمت الهجري، أكد، في. بيان أصدره صباح الخميس، “أنّنا لم نعد نثق بهيئة تدّعي أنّها حكومة، لأنّ الحكومة لا تقتل شعبها بواسطة عصاباتها التكفيرية التي تنتمي إليها”.
وطالب الشيخ الهجري المجتمع الدولي بـ”ألّا يستمرّ التجاهل والتعتيم على كلّ. ما يحصل لنا ولشعبنا من مجازر”، واصفاً الوضع بأنّه “التجربة نفسها” كالتي شهدها الساحل
